I very much doubt that Celtic fans are interested in Rangers signing a young Gaelic football player who nobody bar his own family and friends have ever heard of before. The only two gaelic players in recent times who have switched to football that I know of that have played in the SPL are Cillian Sheridan and Richie Foran, both were ****e, so if this is the kind of thing that's giving Rangers fans boners these days it's going to be one long drawn out pre-season for you. P.S How much of the imaginary £25m warchest was spent on this footballing giant?
how many young players have you signed this summer? yet you choose to highlight this one. says a lot about you i think can i take this time to congratulate rangers on their policy of no longer discriminating on the grounds of religion.
How do we know this player is not a Protestant. Celtic have signed a couple of young players including one from Rangers. Delighted to have him on board no doubt the higher standard will bring him on.
it states in the article that he is a catholic. why that matters i do not know. Medro also put this on the rangers board and got a response from trevor santos that the kid is not welcome...
Edge How do you know Trevor Santos was joking. Just because the article says he is a Catholic does not mean that he is. I know a number of playing members of the Limavady who are Protestants, it doesn't matter in the slightest to me but there are quite a few that it would.
How sad they feel the need to highlight this signing to show they have finally moved into the 21st century.
Because if the Belfast Telegraph ran with a story like that telling a blatent lie then I'm sure someone would have picked up on it. “Rangers is full of lads who have played Gaelic: there are five in the squad that Aaron’s joining, three Dublin fellas and one from Omagh” I take it they are all prods too? Seems like someone is struggling to accept the fact that we have moved on.
Pedro. Just two little questions, if you, and by that you the Rangers club have eventually moved on, why make a song and dance about it? If Rangers had indeed moved on there would be no need to report it. Rangers club may have moved on, in respect of Rangers fans in what decade do you expect them to move on?
DEvAdvocate Its none of your ....ing business. However I can assure you I am not considered stupid by my peers. For those of us that may not have the full use of their brain, what I was trying to say was if had indeed moved on...... Then they would be like their more famous neighbours they would have announced they had signed a 17 year old starlet.... article about Celtic signing would not have included religion of player. Pedro Mendes obviously thought it was important enough for what ever reason.
Wasn't it yourself that doubted the fella was even catholic? So it seems it was appropriate to let people like yourself know that we have moved on.
