Former WWE Champion CM a Punk has signed a contract with the UFC. Famously "Straight Edged" Punk, a native of Chicago Illinois appeared last evening to announce the change in fight codes. Mr. Punk has signed a multi fight deal and unlike Brock Lesnar, who made the leap from professional wrestling to mixed martial arts, has no amateur wrestling experience to speak of. Punk, who quit the WWE earlier this year recently revealed his story via podcast through his close associate Colt Cabana. Mr Punk looks forward to his debut in 2015.

He was genuinely funny too. A great asset to wrestling. I miss all the funny stuff it doesn't seem so tongue in cheek now. They had some great gimmicks in the past, especially during the 80's and 90's, Mr Perfect, Goldust, Giant Gonzales, Doink, Razor Ramon and the Monday night wars was a great period too.
Great telly. I agree with you, apart from Giant Gonzalez who was muck. RIP. He was a basketballer in Argentina and got turned into a rassler somehow. He looked all skin and bone in WCW so the WWF they put a muscly hamster suit on him.
