I have just read on OTIB site, a reply from David Lloyd about this.

It appears that the new vomitories (entrances/exits) will be situated at the top of the current lower tier; thus just below the gangway that goes from end to end of the current upper tier.

So everyone in the new upper tier will still have the same laborious exit to toilets and refreshments.

Why oh why could they have not planned some vomitories at the top of each gangway and put some toilet/refreshment facilities there plus an exit staircase or two?

Am I alone in wondering how all the work/building will turn out?

I currently sit in Atyeo but will be moved from there by start of 2015-16 season as it will be away fans only.

The "South Stand" appears to be heading for all (illegal) standing if the vocal minority of singers and flag wavers have anything to do with it.
And now it appears that the Dolman will still require a long distance walk for a half time pee and cuppa.

So I see it as inevitable that for those like me who want to sit in a stand not blinded by direct sunlight, easy access to toilets and drinks, easy exit from stadium, will have to sit in the most expensive part of the stadium, the new Williams, climb god knows how many stairs to get to the cheapest of the seats which of course will be at the very top(?) I assume no lifts will be provided.

And I thought it would be heaven in a "new Ashton Gate".

They need to address the exits in the dolman as most big stands have exits halfway down but they need at least six outlets along the stand to get people in and out of the stand.

otherwise we are going to have the same issues people getting up and going early.

The South stand will provide everything you want and more. Standing is not illegal and it is likely the fans who inhabited that end for years will go elsewhere.

It will only be a walk of thirty - forty steps in the Dolman to a vomitory and the units in the market place selling food and drink. The walk will be shorter for most.

    Prices? have not been revealed.

I remember the good old days of sitting in the Dolman with my Dad, getting blinded by the sunlight over the Williams and then having to wait forever for the half time wiz (no pun intended for our esteemed moderator). If I had time, legging it down to the pathetic little tea shop by the exit. It was truly a crappy experience but we didn't know any better.

It's beyond me why revealing what the ground will actually look like in detail is taking so bloody long. Surely the architects and planners have all this info to hand?

they are still consulting, planning drawing and thinking of ideas in the concourse, they will again put out a survey to fans with their ideas and for your ideas close to the time to start interior fitting out, this was revealed at thursdays meeting.

The Dolman's design is of another era. Whilst it was lovely when it was new, the wait to get to/from your seat and the half time pee was excruciating. I had a season ticket in block C with my Son for several years but got fed up with the wait and the sun on bright days.

It already done by BS. Local businessmen have looked into taking over a section of the Dolman concourse but its been tied to Heineken. Fans might get to choose something for the museum but not the fitting out.

The Dolman pictures were interesting as the design is not that different to now.

Dont know but BS made a big pitch about getting people in using the bars. Heineken offer Bulmers, strongbow, Scrumpy jack, Woodpecker, Old mout [fruity thing!!] about as bad as it gets for the Bristol cider market.

With the new vomitories just below the current horizontal gangway, it won't get any better. That was the gist of my opener on this thread. I would have been please if some high level vomitories to toilets/refreshments at that high level.
Without that I will not go in the Dolman. It just takes far to long to get down from high up to a loo!
