Reading the Leeds fans forums midweek it was basically a case of you only having to turn up to win! We are proving a lot of people wrong this season and it's a pleasure to add you to the list. McCarthy is by far the best manager in the League and under his guidance we will be promoted this year.
I'll agree with one part of that, mc Carthy is one of the best if not the best in the championship. However when he was available, lots of Leeds supporters, some on here, wouldn't hear of getting him. Some nonsense about not liking his style of football or something

Wasn't that long ago that i begged Bates to bring big Mick in to replace Grayson, and at least 60% of our fans laughed. Would have loved him him here as we would still have been in the shyte under Bates, GFH etc, but wouldn't have been shocking and the players would have been better. Lets face facts Leeds fans, Roy nobhead keane spent cash and left fook all for big Mick. he lifted them from relegation to promotion candidates on no cash. well we have had no cash so would have been further along. We now have someone with no history, experience of running a team, never mind experience of winning promotion, and have to say that Redfearn should have been able to turn that game around (again) in the second half We bossed possession in the first half but went in 3-1 down. Why were we getting battered, oh ok I can stop that, no he couldn't and the inexperience of the kids lights up. I can stick with Redfearn, but seriously think a better manager would do well with this group of players.
ATM we have the Midas touch, first 20 mins we were all over the show and Leeds deserved their lead, once we scored it was normal service resumed, I am sure at some point this season we will have our bad run, I just hope it doesn't last to long. Don't know which forums you mean, but I personally thought if we got a draw it would be a good result. Even in the clubs heyday we found a trip to Ipswich quite tough.
