It actually got better to be fair. Nice that they won too. Wouldn't want to be the Hartlepool manager though. Bottom of League 2, out of the FA Cup to non-league Blyth Spartans.
Much better second half yeah, was set up for Blyth to come out and press 'pool, they deserved the win. Couple of controversial incidents too especially with that one that might-might not have crossed the line, and a couple of v good goals.
From the first couple of angles shown I'd agree. From the last replay I wouldn't. Think it didn't quite make it by an inch or so.
Stan Collymore just chucked a statistic out for us. In the opening eight homes games of last season we scored 22 goals (2.75pg), this season we've got eight (1pg)
Not going to let LFC's **** performance and result damped my weekend. Played today; won 5-1, scored twice and won MOTM.
First goals of the season, we'd had 13 games before today . That's still as good as Balotelli. Still our top scorer has only about 5, goals have been really spread out this season. Oh and one last thing..... Its the wrong sport
Indeed. Only problem I see is that I spend all match trying to avoid using my feet connecting with the ball, something I believe is important for football even for us.
Ridiculous sport that is. Wear no protection and have someone smashing rock solid balls towards you while also trying to avoid the swinging stick to ensure it doesn't smash you in the face And I'll say again, I'm not sure it'll be a problem
I wear shin pads (proper shin pads not ****ty football ones), not enough for you? Some people wear gum guards and flimsy hand guards (like a small cricket glove), that more like it? Avoiding the stick is fairly easy, its 37 inches long you really can't fail to see it. Avoiding the ball smashing you in the face, back, feet (basically anywhere but your shin padded legs) is more of the challenge. Could be worse, could be a Goalkeeper and actually want to throw myself in front of the ball. Anyway since you assure me a contract I'm going to get in contact with Rodgers, expect to see me joining on the 1st Jan
Dad used to play, still umpires, been playing since I went to Secondary school which makes it 19yrs this year. I fear I may have peaked at 15 though. Did play at School but have been playing for the Club team for longer. Nowadays we start the youngsters from age 8 or 9, which is younger than I was.
