It's not really a question now something for discussion, but the experience in the north stand is terrible at the moment. It takes minimum ages to get in the ground because there aren't enough turnstiles, and then once you're in the concourse isn't big enough for the amount of people that are in there.

I left my seat bang on halftime for a pint today and didn't get served until the teams had come back out.

I'm not sure what the answer is but there must be something they can do, even if it means pre pouring pints at half time again.

I've asked them to consider removing the gate separating the North from the West so fans get to spread out, it seems an obvious answer to me.

I've just spoken to someone working at the club today and they said they were told that it was just down to people not being able to scan their barcodes, but I don't believe that. I walked from the car park outside the West Stand, half an hour before kick off and there was a queue of hundreds waiting, it can't possibly just be down to people not being able to scan their tickets, it had to be a bigger issue.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was as simple as people not being able to scan cards, my turnstile in the south never has a queue and there was a 10 minute long line today. When I got to the scanner I tried 3 times and the screen kept telling me 'no entry' before the woman behind did something and opened the gate for me.

The scanner machines at other grounds are far simpler too. Any old technophobes out there or dusty coffin Dodgers over the age of 40 wouldn't have a ferking clue what to do.

It was the cause where I was at the East (South) turnstiles. In front of me, one guy had left his ticket to get folded and creased in his pocket so his barcode wouldn't scan. Another guy scanned his season card but then didn't push the turnstile and got himself locked out. Some people weren't even holding their cards the right way. One of the stewards override cards didn't work either so she had to rely on the other steward next to her. It was a majority of the older generation too with the problems. When I was probably ten people away from my turn to enter, 4 of those screwed up scanning in. Multiply that up to the thousands going through and you have delays.

Agreed. This new system is ****e. There were never queues before and the crowds haven't got any bigger. Now the queues are getting longer every week. I did find it strange when it was explained the other night that the turnstile system assumes you've gone in 5 seconds after scanning (then locks up and needs a steward to let you in) even if the turnstile hasn't turned. Isn't that the whole point of the massive mechanical device, to measure when someone has gone in? Why do we have turnstiles if they aren't used to determine when someone has gone in?

I'm in E4 and over the course of season turned up between 2:15 and 2:45 and not really had any problems.

Yesterday I got to the ground at about 2:45 and the queues where only three or four out the door.
