    Well that was awful.

12-2 in corners, was it? We were lucky to get a point.

I guess I've seen us worse.

I blame the manager as well. I've been blaming the manager for a while, even while I continue to think he has good points, and continue to hope he can start learning.

So against teams we're favored against at home, we're now, what is it, 1 win, four defeats and two draws?

Poor performance, poor team selection, poor substitutions and poor result. Palace did enough to win that.
We have to start with either Lennon on the right or Townsend on the left and we simply can't use Lamela and Eriksen out wide together.
I have no idea how Pochettino has watched our games and come to the conclusion that they work as a wide pairing.

The midweek game has to be used to play those that aren't starting regularly and I don't mean Aaron bloody Lennon, either.
That's assuming that some of them are actually fit or available for selection.

Dunno. What game were you looking at? If it was ours, then no. Liverpool's? No. Hull v West Brom? No. Anything else? Probably.

just poor coaching at this point. there is a sense of belligerence to poch similar to avb. they both are/were so dogmatic unwilling to change even though it is plainly not working. I know levy could make ferguson look like a ****e manager/coach by not getting him the players he wants but this is just senseless. I see only one ending, goodbye poch and then in with the next bright young thing who levy thinks will create miracles. Groundhog Day .

Since drawing 2 all with sunderland in our 4th game of the season We have played well against arsenal, southampton and Everton....3 good games in 11 prem games is piss poor imo.
Therecwas nothing good from that game apart from a clean sheet...how low have we sunk when keeping a clean sheet at home against a mid to lower table team is the high point of a game?

And that was only because Lloris had a good game. Not Pochettino's finest moment.

I don't understand how we have a good game with proper width and an impressive workrate and then decide to change it and remove the thing that worked.
    It seems completely bizarre.

Only saw the second half ( watching Paddingto Bear ) and Palace had the better chances
l found it rather entertaining as l consider a point gained than
    2 lost.
lMHO this our level so your all mad to think it will get any better.
Just get over it and please no grumpy moods when in Jan we sign
another bunch of cheap average Dans .
Enjoy it for what it is , you don't want to spoil your festive season
over this lot . Make Merry at least we have Lioris
    Chin up
    A reflective Sid.

Seriously, is Lamela possibly the worst bit of transfer business we've ever done? He's a show pony. No way good enough for this level. £30m? We were robbed.

"We are not very fresh because it was the third game in six days and it's difficult to manage."

So says Pochettino, Hmm! why the large squad then? He knew this was going to happen and yet appears to have made no provision for it. Maybe I am being unfair but it seems to me that this is precisely his job to sort such situations. It is his job to get the best out the players and that includes spreading the load. Once again it resembles computer game tactics. Oh! surprise surprise the players are tired! All the more reason to play them in complementary positions rather than force them to follow a plan for which they are unsuited. Did Lennon only have enough energy for 7 minutes? Is he THAT old?

I think that was our 5th game in 13 days and a few players looked tired, Palace looked a bit sharper and could easily have won. The constant lack of width is not looking like being resolved and some substitutions are strange, as is persisting with playing our wide attacking players off the wrong foot.

Yep, the gaffer apparently says the pitch is too narrow. So what does he do....? Narrows our play even more. Great logic! <doh>

The transfer window will lead to a lot of outs imo...
Lamela, paulinio, chiriches, adebayor and possibly soldado will go...only soldado looks like he's trying but it aint working out for him.
We need to replace naughton and dembele as both are going backwards with us, and are taking us with them.
Then there is Kaboul, who is shot (imo) and vertongen, who is a cock imo.
Thats a possible 9 players out.

I think that levy will have no option but to buy proven prem players as replacements if he wants us to go forward

I don't think I've walked home from the Lane quicker than I have today for a long while, was so frustrated and pissed off with what I witnessed.

Poch royally f**ed up, I don't know what he was thinking starting Lamela over Lennon when it's been quite obvious these past few weeks that we NEED pace and that Lamela has been dog ****. I think my patience is running thin with Lamela now, it's getting to that stage where we're just not seeing any progression and it's 18 months into his Spurs career. We paid £30m for him and £1m for Lennon yet you'd think it was the other way round.
Soldado fluffed more chances so looks like the Everton game was a one off, losing patience with him too.
Felt really sorry for Dier, he was very uncomfortable against Bolasie and barely had any help on the right hand side.

Really was a dismal showing, I'd be devastated if I was a Palace fan as they should've left with a comfortable 3 points.

For the first time I'm going to admit that we're in a right mess, I've tried to see positives but it's running out now, most of the players aren't good enough, the manager is making continuous mistakes with selections and formations and as a Spurs fan who goes to the Lane all the time, I'm honestly leaving depressed more often than not. I shouldn't have to feel like that but when I'm treated to the dismal showings we've seen this season (and last) it makes me question if I want to continue going. I have no problem losing or drawing games but when there's no fight, no passion and no direction, why would I want to fork out £35-£50 to watch it?

    f**ing sort it out Spurs.

Unfortunately, Smithy, we have to get used to the fact that this is nothing but a very average side, and there's no use expecting too much from it - you'll only be disappointed.

There is only one player that any superior team would covet - our goalkeeper. None of them would give a toss about the rest.
