At what point do some of you accept we are neither unlucky or on the cusp of a new dawn. Chesh/60 ffs smell the coffee our midfield and defence are ****e when not in possession. We are in a relegation dogfight and no mistake... We played well last week but on a different day Derby would have taken a couple of chances.
Feck wall... We shouldn't be worrying about them.... Do you remember a couple of weeks when you and Chesh were citing how much better we are because we weren't getting stuffed, and I said it was but for the grace of God.... Would you like to reconsider?
I haven't watched or listened, but I am sure Chesh will be along to tell me how we murdered them, the ref was crap, the goals were jammy and the fl is corrupt. But I suspect the defence has as usual been all over the place, the midfield didn't close down and we haven't put a tackle in till they are within 20 yards of goal. Tell me I am wrong.
We need to make sure this doesn't go to 5-1, because the wall are 5-1 down now and we need to maintain decorum
glory you are correct on this ... Mowatt and Cook do not defend at all, allowing Ipswich midfielders to join in at pace for fun ... McCarthy is a shrewd coach, and he has clearly figured this out, getting his mids to push on beyond Mowatt and Cook ... I was worried after Derby when Redders started praising the young 'uns a bit too much, after all we hadn't yet put any sort of consistent run together ... now after this thrashing the test starts, and I fear we may well face a bleak festive period unless Redders starts making the team responsible for defending as a unit ... this is back to the bad old days of exposing our defence, and it seems to be a habit rather than lack of ability ... bit more sgt major needed from Redders to get them fighting for 90 mins all over the pitch Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
100% correct, and some!! Thought we'd finish mid table this season but now it's going to be a definite relegation fight! Thought the Derby game was a fluke and today has proven it. The team carries no confidence in to any game we have and this really has been coming. The team is ****, the players are ****, the diamond formation doesn't work and never f*cking has done (cheers Cellino!!) and to top it off we don't even have an owner!! But lets look on the bright side. McCormacks back at his rightful home next week ready to score a few and it's Christmas soon after when we can carry on our festive tradition of playing utter **** and sliding down the table!!! F*ck off Leeds!!! Edit: I love Leeds really
Cheers, I take no joy in it. But I have been right about it all season, even when we have got a result. However I believe that a number of the new guys arnt championship standard, redders ain't the answer, but even The special one couldn't polish some of these turds.
I fear you are very much right on all of this Billy, except for one point. It wasn't down to McCarthy being shrewd, it's clearly all the work of Agent Hunt...
When will you all see that Cellino buys the players with the Diamond formation in mind, he picks a coach on the understanding it is the Diamond formation, McD, Hockaday, Darko and Redfearn, come on seriously?? Do you believe all four would persist with it if it were not due to being on strict instructions... McD tried to get us Stewart and Kebe to add width, they were big fails and Cellino managed to get us out of the Stewart deal, yes I am glad we didn't end up with him but Cellino has zero interest in wingers/wide players.
I'm just waiting for your manager to label us as a long ball physical team like all the others we have beaten this season!
I've edited a previous rant on here which agrees with you on this point. Something seems a bit odd with this formation. I can't get my head around why nothing has changed all season?
Slightly disappointed that we didn't get 5 or 6 against you, you were that bad...we were showboating and taking the piss in the second half, ****ing awesome! At least Millwall had 5 put past them today so I guess in someways it's been a good afternoon for you lot. Have a good evening lads!
