£15M but since he's only got one year left on his deal 7 or 8 would be fair IMO.

Is he realy that good? I see him more as a 10-12 mill player from what i'v seen; but I havent seen that much to be fair.

He's better than any left back we've had in the 2000s. #TrueStory.

The problem I have with enrique is he may be a little too confident on the ball. More than once he put Newcastle in trouble, dribbling from the back and losing the ball near the 18 yard box. What's worse is this happened more often towards the end of the season, and it might carry on into next season. I don't want needless pressure on Reina.

He's a solid defender but not that creative going forward.

any one else reckon we missed a trick not trying to get Domenico Criscito for our LB spot He's recently signed for Zenit he's always looked decent when I've watched him either for Genoa or for Italy, he gets forward well and can also play CB which would have given us cover for that position as well. He's only 24 which would fit in to the FSG model of buying younger players, might of been worth a shout. Granted the Memories of Dossena may be enough to put all you fellow red's off an italian left back.

Yeah, I hope we land him. He has the same potential as Fabio Contreao but alot cheaper.

Is there? Where is your evidence? As Kenny said, the club have not talked about a single player to anyone, it is all made up rubbish. The only thing that might be true is that initial phone call or email or fax if you're real old school, just asking what are the chances. We have not made an offer for either player, so to say we lost out over Clichy is rubbish, all we might of done is ask Arsenal, if he might be available. We made no offer, so we never lost out. We might have asked about 20 players in that position, and got 12 "No chance, bugger off" and so they then look at the 8 they might stand a chance with, and go through a process of figuring out which might be the better choice, and if Clichy wants to go to Citeh, then we dodged a bullet, I mean, how thick must any player be if he wants to go to Citeh? He has to be driven by greed. So we may never have taken our interest any further than that initial contact, and we might not go any further for Enrique.

Just because I've asked if you have a boyfriend, doesn't mean I want to marry you!

The Daily mail said it was truth. Therefore it is...

    It probably is though.

Cheers for the warm welcome guys sorry about the late reply, to answer your question about Criscito he played for Genoa but had one of those strange 50% ownership contracts with Juve, he started out as a CB but has been switched to LWB for a while now. He played a good few times for Italy in the last world cup he was basically Fabio Grosso's replacement along with Dossena. Like i said he's only young so could have been a good shout, on how much he would have cost, well i don't think it would have been too much maybe somewhere between 7-9 Mil but unfortunately he's just signed for Zenit. Any of you guys got any other potential LB's that you've had a look at one's that have yet to be mentioned to death?
