Morning all. I had a rough night last night because I over-ate at the team Xmas meal (I don't drink). It didn't help my mood that the highlights of last night's match that were supposed to be on Sky at midnight and I had set to record were cancelled. Next, the FA Cup draw on Monday night.
Morning all - missed the game as I was at a gig. I now wonder if I should make alternative plans every time we are on the old magic telly box!
15 minutes scraping frost of the car windows this morning. Now I remember why I thought it a bad idea to put an extra freezer, unused furniture, gardening stuff and miscellaneous junk in the garage...
That might be coincidence - that it was on the telly, I mean. I propose you go to gigs for every game, at least till New Year.
Morning all, it started off bright enough today, but in the last hour a fog has appeared hiding the trees across the fields. Sun has been forecast which should burn it off, but it is not expected to warm up greatly. Met a couple of my neighbours in the supermarket on Friday. Although both of them are in their 80's they were hoping for a traditional Christmas with lots of snow. In 14 years while here I have never seen any in December, if we have any it comes in February.
The paper is not my choice, but this report sounds to be well informed. Interesting, if depressing, read. The FL should be ashamed of themselves. I am so glad we have the Pozzos. We used to read this sort of stuff about us in the days of whines and loanses (bad joke looking for a home ) ie Ashcroft, Simpson et al. And what do you mean, "not your paper of choice", ofh? Typical! This is exactly the sort thing this fine newspaper highlights... Namely, people from Europe dictating to us!!
