To be fair we sold vermaelen who had spent a lot of time out injured after the achillies injury that kept him out for a full season. And since selling him he has gone on to have an injury plagued season at barca. It was a good choice to get rid of him it would seem given current circumstances. And he was replaced with chambers. I think the problem was chambers is cover for two positions and obviously wenger doesn't feel bellerin is ready to regularly deputise at RB. We should have brought in an additional defender I think but selling the verminator wasn't the problem. Oh and those couple of attackers haven't turned out too bad so far #sanchezchosearsenal
Didn't know that about Verm so fair enough Never said Ozil and Sanchez weren't good, Welbeck hasn't been too bad for you either, my point was that money needed to be invested elsewhere in the team. Much like us spending £120 on seven players, we should have bought a CB, DM and striker and not loaned so many out.
We still need to buy a DM and a CB, but Ozil and Sanchez were top quality buys and I wouldn't change that for anything. Also Welbeck at £16m was a good buy, especially when Liverpool paid the same for the train wreck that is Balotelli.
Are Southampton fans still bitter about Walcott and Chamberlain? I noticed last season as well they really don't seem to like us...
The majority of this boring bullcr*p is from a Scouser. He's even bored the Saints fans away. Small mercies..
I don't just mean on this site. I know a few at work and they never have anything but **** to say about Arsenal
There are clearly some saints fans who haven't quite got over us taking players from them... Walcott and oxocube have succeeded so far with us and they seem to hate that. You regularly see them going on about how Walcott has been wasted and should of been better, whilst ignoring he is a nailed on starter for a CL club who had equal stats to bale prior to his Real Madrid move...
