Agreed with that, we aren't struggling for squad numbers.

Also, its only wide players I think we need. So if we aren't going to be signing wide players or playing a different formation then I don't really see the point.

We could perhaps do with a striker but not entirely necessary imo.

Just taken this off a Coventry city site, looks like it is possible to still bring in some players,if you get rid of others.Interesting
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sky Blues development director Steve Waggott explained how the club can bring in new players whilst operating under embargo.

He said: "According to the rules of the Football League and Financial Fair Play you can be subject to a transfer embargo but still be able to make adjustments to your squad.

"The Football League operates a policy of one player out and one player in, therefore the departure of Cody McDonald in the summer enables us to bring in a replacement.

"There are, however, certain conditions to any transfer business being done to ensure that clubs are not increasing their financial risk in their acquisition of new players.

"To ensure that, the Football League insists that any player brought in can only be on a maximum 75% of the wages that the departed player was on.

"Given that condition, it is crucial that we make the best possible use of this opportunity. Steven Pressley has been working tirelessly to identify the kind of targets that he feels will add depth to his squad for this season and I will work equally hard in trying to get his targets through the door in a manner that fits in with Football League rules."

Only four weeks to the opening of the transfer window? Why so interested? Who do you want to get rid of, apart from Cellino? Even the FL can't do that.

Missed that, last I read was his new Ipswich boss saying Cellino had told the world he was on £25k a week. Not that I feel it is time for us to be signing anyone else yet, I would give this lot the remainder of the season and have a look at some who are yet to feature

It was Gary Cooper on twitter and hed seen the spreadsheet showing all Leeds wages. Cellino seemingly showed it to lust and it confirmed Hunt was on 11k

    Am I reading that right?
Dear ex leader made something up............... I am so shocked I am going for a sit down.
Even WJ would struggle to justify the self-chosen one giving out false information.

Not sure what way youre reading it. Cooper says they were shown a spreadsheet of the players wages by Cellino and it confirmed Hunt was on 11k a week. As with all twitter comments, could be true or false

It was very badly written. Hence my question at the very outset if I was reading it correctly.

However on the very rare occasion I fail to compensate for someone else's stupidity I unlike others am man enough to concede that I should have translated their jibberish with more care.

Glad to have cleared that up for you.

if I am starting at 7.00 the night before, and restarting at 8.30 in the morning, I don't think I will be discovering anything to be fair.
