The car twirl is the most famous? Skyfall was well presented and shot, but a bit lame script wise. Still love casino royal, and it's so much better now weave a proper actor in DC. Quantum of Solace was a good idea that just didn't work as a story on screen.
Dalton is more like the character in books, he was a good bond, but i really do think Daniel Craig is doing a great job.
Waltz is a quality actor , ive only seen one bond film all the way through - the one where "Jaws"? bites through a train cable or something I might be tempted to watch this on though
Pretty much the same here. Never really got Bond. There's some good moments but I'd have to force myself to sit through a full film. Give me Austin Powers any day of the week.
Agreed, I think the franchise is massively overrated. Only one I really enjoyed was Casino Royale and that was probably because it didn't actually feel like a bond film.
What's that got to do with it? if anything mass populous success shows how **** something is: Shakin Stevens - best selling male soloist in Britain in the 80s. Westlife - best selling band in Britain in the 90s.
For me the only watchable thing about Skyfall was Javier Bardem, he might just be the best Bond villain ever. The rest was very formulaic. I say this in complete honesty, within 30 seconds of Fiennes being on screen I knew Dench would die and he would take over.
From what I remember from reading the books as a kid, they were quite dark with Bond being a "black ops assassin". Dalton carried that character quite well as has Craig.
I'm glad they've successfully re-booted the franchise. Halle Berry nearly killed it for me (thankfully she never got her own spin-off)
100% agree, never ever 'got it' with her. I wouldnt even strump her. The 2 in Goldeneye - Famke Jannsen and t'other one - are both absolute dynamite.
I've seen that quoted before, but I'm not sure it's true, Shakin Stevens had two of the biggest selling records in the 80's(This Ole House- No.40/You Drive Me Crazy - No69), but their combined sales are a fraction of what George Michael sold in Careless Whisper No.8 and he had other big hits, I'd expect him to have sold more. I think Rick Astley might have even sold more.
My favourites in no particluar order: Moonfinger Corntub of soil Never say you'll never walk alone with a golden gun Live and get by Bladerunner 2
