Couple of lady friends of mine went to some sort of health and beauty fair recently, they kept talking about getting "facials".
It's childish, I know, but I couldn't help wanting to snigger every time they said it.

Emmanuel Petit sorry for war reference in attack on ‘smug, arrogant’ French

The former France midfielder Emmanuel Petit has apologised for suggesting his nation would have been better off if they had been “overrun” by Germany in the second world war.

Petit, discussing what he called a lack of respect for his former team-mate Thierry Henry in the French media, said the domestic view of the striker was “hypocritical and cowardly”.

He added: “I have great difficulty with the French, I have never seen such arrogant, smug, lying and hypocritical people,” and concluded: “Sometimes I think that if we’d been overrun by the Germans, we’d be better run.”

Petit, who played alongside Henry in the team that won the 1998 World Cup and spent three years at Arsenal from 1997 to 2000, has now apologised for any offence he caused with the latter statement.

He told sport365 TV: “This historical reference was stupid of me. I apologise to the Jewish people but also to all those who have experienced war. My reference was misplaced.

“We must put things in context. I was asked about the possibility of an exhibition match to give an honorable exit to Thierry Henry. I thought it was unfair in that these same people vilified Thierry for years and have not given him the status he deserved, as for me he’s the greatest striker in French football.”

Who knew RHC was in fact Emmanuel Petit?

Bisc, have you exchanged contracts then? No backing out now if so, do you have a completion date?

I am selling atm, pain in the arse. They're stalling but they finally agreed to exchange contracts once a few enquiries are cleared up by their solicitors
