Any one heard any news or rumours about the future of Insua?

I'd love it if he stayed with Liverpool.

Doubt he'll stay although I reckon I'd love to see us give him another chance.

According to his Wiki he has said he wants to return and play for Dalglish.

    who knows?

Its not he was a bad player like konchesky or pouslen <laugh>

I think all players in preseason who came back off loan should get looked at, others who were there under dalglish and bascially are trash should be shipped out post haste.

insua wasn't that bad, its just a question of whether he's improved or gone backwards after a disaster of a loan.

Probably the latter, but so had all the rest of the squad when Hodgson left, King Kenny soon sorted that out.

I think if he stays it may mean that Jack Robinson plays less and I don't think that would be good for his development.

Also if he stays and we don't buy a LB is Insua good enough for first choice with Robinson as back up?

But Robinson is only 17, if there was an injury and he had to play for a long run as first choice I am not sure he is ready.

I think Insua is good enough, just lacked confidence and experience before. I always like him.

I guess kenny will let us know when he selects his first couple of squads.

for me i don't see him being no 12 and robinson no 2... thats pushing it... but where's aurelio in this.. he could still have time on his contract... mr konchbloodyesky could hang round like a bad smell as well..... one starts to form the opinion a few bad eggs need to move before the picutre becomes clear.

I think Konchesky looks more like a potato than an egg....

I have a sneaky suspicion he might stay, although it'll probably be more to do with nobody else wanting him.

I think he's worth another go, but I think we'll sell him.

Yeah, under King Kenny he could come good. Get him a decent pre-season, use him as backup for the backup left-back (New LB will be regular, Fabio Aurelio as cover, likely need a backup for him)

I think he signifies everything wrong with last season. (rightly or wrongly).

In order to move on we need to bin the rubbish!

    Harsh but fair.

Sadly true. I like Fabio but we need players who actualy play games!

I'd keep him if he were up to it.

I see where your coming from. One of our problems from previous seasons is giving players too many chances, at some point we have to just get rid and bring in players who can perform from the start. But the feel around Liverpool says differently, we are patient for success and if that means making gradual changes in order to slowly improve the squad then so be it
