The man from the Meteo reckons we might see some snow showers this morning, and it does feel as if something could be coming out of the sky, but I cannot tell what it is.

Mme donated a little blood to the vampire and while she was doing that I had a short wander around the Wednesday morning market. Four stalls selling goats cheese, three selling local vegetables and fruit, a clothing stall, a plant stall, one selling shoes and the local rescue centre for cats trying to interest people in some small bundles of fluff. As I entered the market there was a delicious smell coming from somewhere. At the far end of the town square was a van with the entire side opened up showing chickens on spits slowly turning in front of the burners. I am not sure who would go out to buy a cooked chicken at 8.30 am, but the smell certainly added something to a small market on a cold morning.
