  7. Wouldn't lowering stamp duty make it more likely to cost you?

Are you really looking to buy a first time house for over £125k too...?

When I say lowering I mean lowering what I have to pay. They increased the bottom of the threshold and changed the way you pay so it's done similar to tax now where you only pay on the amount that is over the threshold. Ie, you don't pay 2% on 201k if threshold is 200k, you only pay the 2% on the 1k over.

And yes, my place is a lot more than 125k... Try buying a place in the SE of England for 125k, won't get you much and not in a great area <laugh>

  9. You must be minted then <whistle>

Have a word with DR, he's got plenty of experience when it comes to buying properties, he's bound to know a few loop holes for stamp duty <whistle>

    You spotted somewhere then?

It's still the second half of the week and nearly the weekend, even if you're working.

Dear all..... I now have the possibility of running a mafia 5 thread that doesn't affect lfc board.... I would like to ask here... For lfc fans... What do you want... All of our non lfc mafia friends will join but what do you think?

Lots of footy about so what are thoughts? We do not need par se a big crew for a mini game of 10 people or whatever but lfc board takes priority

What I've got is permission to use a dead board on not606 to run a game
