I know. What a twat. Chester was shoved in the back when that corner was given as well.

Not unless Robertson is balding already.

Bollocks, it was a tactical masterclass.

Play a solid team, make them work real hard for everything, wear them down, then throw on the attackers once they're getting real weary and rattled to try to recover whatever damage we might have suffered.

    ****ing genius.

Great performance and result. That's the benchmark now for the rest of the season.

The high pressing tactics seemed to suit us really well. Wonder how it affects energy levels for Saturday.

Good point but you know what at least we have seen a ****ing change. Bruce seems capable of giving them a kicking. I would hate to just softly die out and get relegated.

Need a win soon, important to start performing when playing against those at the bottom. Aluko obviously did better than normal, but one goal and one performance hardly makes him a world beater. You see how completely unfickle I am.

Well I thought that formation and lineup wouldn't work but Bruce proved me wrong.

Hi CT, a really good second half performance but I'm worn out! City looked good for the first 15-20 minutes of the first half when they just calmed down and played simple pass and move football. It all looked a bit frantic after the Everton goal but certainly back to their best from half time onwards. Great goal by Aluko, excellent play from Chester and tireless work from Quinn - hard to pick a man of the match but for the right reasons this week,

Much better. High work rate and closing down in packs again. Good goal. Sleep better tonight.

Good performance - in both halves.

Jak was sub goalie. Is Harper injured?

I didn't think Aluko played bad against Man Utd, and I was hoping Bruce would start him today ahead of Ben Arfa.

In all honesty I thought Aluko was still generally quite poor other than that flash of brilliance, but that's what he's capable of, he's not the type to change the face of our attack and dominate a game, at least not at this level.

It's just a shame he hasn't produced those moments of quality more often, but tonight can only give him confidence and with confidence, hopefully form.
