No not the blog..... but 1st pre-season friendly at Welling. Who's up for a little drinky b4 the game then? I know there's the pub right next to the ground but is that the best one to use? Perhaps one of the welling boys could help? AllHell PS. doubt if Nick will be there!
. I'm still in two minds about going to be honest. I'm being persuaded to host a BBQ and am swaying towards that... even though I am wanting to see some of the new players.
I'm gutted that i can't make the Welling game. I'd love to be able to see some of the new boys in action. The pub right near the ground is an absolute cack hole AllHell. Your best bet is the Nags Head which is up the road a bit towards Welling high street. Had Mrs Franco not have already booked me in for a family visit i would've been only too happy to join you for a beverage or five AllHell. I'd love the opportunity to put some faces to the legends on here.
I might pop into the Nag's head on the way there, not too sure at the moment. When someone tried arranging a drink to mark the end of 606 there were hardly any takers then either.
yes that sounds very interesting indeed...do go on if your game to arrange something for bournemouth AHLL, that would be grand. 90% sure ill be flying back for that one
I would be up for it but I have to do some escorting at lunchtime (no, not that kind ) so can only get to Welling 2.30 ish. Would be up for a pre-Bournemouth meet up though
the one right next to the ground is also throwing a pre-match BBQ (guy earl of warwick) but otherwise as others suggest, The Nags Head is the next nearest
If I tell you guys you will either not believe me, or never let me live it down, so no, I shall leave it for now. Sorry for being a muddy stick. But I can confirm I am not an alcoholic!
right, Billy, I'll PM you, do you want me to get you your ticket? I'll be going Friday to get them? Same to you Tweaks? (even though you aren't going for a drink!) Epsom, if you are getting to Welling at 2:30 that doesn't leave any time for a drink and get your tickets?
That's what I meant by saying I couldn't get there until 2.30, meaning that I wouldn't have time for a drink. I was hoping the queue wouldn't be too long
Cheers, Ahll. My ticket is only £7 by the way. Could you get one for my son as well? He is 16(Does that count as a concession?) Excuse my technophobia but how do you PM someone?
Billy, Go to their user name (it turns red) left click and some options come up. One of those options is 'Private Message'
I've got my tickets but will be in a convoy of 8 with pre drinks in the turnpike in welling high street, one of my mates is returning from oz after 17 months, it could get messy!
Thanks for the offer, AllHell - I'll message you when I get home - work's a bit bonkers at the moment.
