Mortgage set up £350

Moving van £400

10% deposit £16,000

 

First time sellers

Selling for £165,000

Buying at £200,000

Estate agency fees 1.25% of £165,000 =£2500 inc of VAT

Mortgage set up £350

Solicitors £1700

Stamp duty £4000

Moving van £400

Deposit at lets say 10% = £20000
