If Rooney's got them goals from 'midfield', Costa's got his from in goal. ;)

See it's easy to make a ludicrous statement....

    Offers more than Aguero....<doh>

Ludicrous statement number 2. Anyone bar you can see Aguero has been player of the year so far.

Aguero offers goals. Hes a better striker.

Rooney offers everything. Hes a better player. Plus rooney wont take 4 months off while aguero will. In that time he will offer roughly **** all to city.

Can you confirm what part of the pitch a number 10/attacking midfielder plays in.

If injured then yeah Aguero may well be off for a while. Rooney doesn't get injured often but does tend to take a little break if his contract isn't quite right and will bugger off to the US for a bit of sun. Bless.

The fact you think a 'number 10' and an attacking midfielder is the same thing says it all really.....

Lampard is an attacking midfielder, Mata is a number 10. Different roles and expectations. Rooney is not a midfielder.

Not many will agree with you there. Gerrard is said to be able to play anywhere and offers a lot, doesn't make him better than Pele.

After 3 points yesterday, its Chelski v Spuds, and the Arse v Saints. Can only see two home bankers, but 2 draws, or even the Spuds winning would be perfect. About as likely as the proverbial flying pigs though, but it could happen

Well thats because its silly to suggest when they played in different eras and continents.

Rooney however plays in tye same league and time as aguero. Aguero offers very little while injured and considering hes always injured... Aguero also plays a single role as he is unable to perform anywhere else. Not a slight on him as hes a striker but rooneys good enough up top (comparable to aguero as an out and out striker) as well as being far better than aguero from wide, deep or midfield.

Rooney has scored in the knock out rounds of the worlds premier football competition. Where class gets seperated from the pretenders. Aguero may have but ive literally got no idea. It was a consolation regardless so doesnt count.

    Rooney 2-0 aguero.

Just because some ******s think rooney is **** doesn't make it so. Theyre ****ing ******s ffs. Rooney is one of the leagues best, most consistent and most reliable players. He carries more expectations than any player in england and he continues to perform.

Yep, evilred, so much for my hopes of Spurs actually making an effort. The Arse and Saints are goalless, The Sheiks are 1-1 up north. Everton are 1-0 up which keeps them ahead of the dippers, so its not all doom and gloom
