Rumours of a bid of around 60m euros has come in for liege ,if this is true what does this mean for Charlton? Will he use the money on the team or perhaps cash in on us come the summer ? or buy another club?

Interesting the start of it states Standards fears of bankruptcy, why would that be wit RD's wealth, or is it the fact we are his new toy??
Based in one of the biggest most famous capital city's in the world, close to central London, Kent (Paramount theme park), transport links improving etc etc.
Also the Premiership its the place to be for money and he is a money man, even if we went up then straight down look at the paracute paymenst they are huge.

Now if its the case we are his new toy, what happens when he has made money out of us and finds a new toy do we get ditched like Standard?

Let's hope we will be in the premiership.

A similar story came out last year and nothing happened, so guess take it with an air of caution. But seeming he's not too popular there you can see why he might sell.

No, you're alright, the sale could be back on.

They say it's just a rumour but a well founded one with a group from Abu Dhabi offering 60million euro.

It also says Duchatelet came in for even more abuse after the home defeat last week to Kortrijk.

What would you do? 60 m in the bank, or carry on going to a club where the fans want to impale you on a christmas tree. No brainer if you ask me. How much did he buy them for?

So 35m profit pre tax. Or go to the Liege stadium every couple of weeks and incite riots. Seems very straightforward to me. I'm curious about how that will change our status, but I doubt it'll mean a lot of money coming in. RD does'nt seem to buy in to the Abrahmovitch idea of buying success.

Abramovitch spent money to achieve his goal : success.

RD want's success to achieve his goal : make money.

    Different philosophy.

I think it will be business for RD. He's going to make profit and that's what he's in the game for. I think he will spend some money, but it will be divided between us and St Truiden who, if he sells, RD can take back up and take control of again.
