similar to my post, but different words. I would agree with what you have said and add that I would play Long for this game; he has earned that and I would play him tonight instead of Mane.
Does it though? I mean really? I called this mini meltdown before the City game, laughable really. If we lose tonight and on Monday I think I will just avoid here altogether! As for tonight, just the 2 changes for me, Cork for Morgan. Long for Mane, Tadic back on the left please!
I think we have a great set up and a good team and manager...that hasn't changed. I know there will be slumps and high points during the season, but I was relying (unreasonably) on the big sides continuing to be poor...they have caught us up quicker than I thought. I'm blaming no one, but my unreasonable hopes. We may finish top four or top six, but we must expect to go up and down the league during the season....keep the faith.
If we lose the next two games, we are still having a cracking season, anyone who doesn't think so hasn't followed saints for long!
You could say it's a pity they have all come together (although we must remember we haven't lost them all yet ) or you could say it's better to have got a load of points on the board early in the season. The important thing is that the team and the fans have to keep their spirits high...not turn a drama into a crisis. And no giving up (that's aimed at the fans, as I'm sure the team won't). Right....I just have to read that back to myself COYR
I'd love to see Tadic on the left getting early balls in tonight. Arsenal's defence is there to be got at
Pelligrini was clever using Navas and later Milner to help out the full backs and stop Clyne and Bertrand getting forward as much. If Wenger does the same will be interesting to see what Ron does.
Arsneal don't have any wingers...Theo, Ox (hopefully) are both out. Podolski doesn't work back and Cazorla has little interest in doing so either. This is tailor made for Clyne and Bertrand to cause carnage if Wanyama can get control in the middle of the park.
Had the feeling we might get something from the MCFC game, and we didn't. I have a feeling that we'll get nothing tonight.
