Alright mate, you too. Yes it was very nice thank you I actually watched Phil Hughes at the Adelaide Oval for the Redbacks against NSW in a Sheffield Shield match - with him walking right in front of us in his trackies, around the boundary after his first innings. Dead like 2/3 weeks after. Mental!
Oh great, the Jewish Leadership Council have piped up. Those motherfuckers were silent as the grave when Israel was slaughtering children in Gaza a few months back but in response to MB they find a voice.
The hate this guy receives is just embarrassing. He's a young guy in a foreign country and sounds like he does a lot of decent stuff quietly but only gets ridiculed when he does silly stuff. The picture he posted is nothing. Also the comments by so called fans on here are embarrassing, you support the team, this guy is new to our team and people want him sacked just because he isn't playing well? Embarrassing.
Agreed. So much attention on him and it;s unfair. Amazing that people are calling him 'racist for that picture. Its quite ironic given the REAL racism he's been subjected to all his life.
Most people accusing him of being racist never have to deal with anything more upsetting than getting the wrong type of milk in their Starbucks
So, not sure if it was said already. Badon's auld dear is jewish? and he's black. What was he trying to say? hardly seems racist to me, more like making a point
I don't think he meant to be racist as his mum is jewish. How can you hate your mum lol ? So also I'm guessing he was raised in a Jewish way. And finally everyone is moaning about the jewish comment but know one cares about what he said about jumping like a black man a monkey reference ? I don't know I think the true racists are those who have senationalised this non story
Not a monkey reference at all. Simply a long-standing stereotype that black people are generally more athletic than white. A wild generalisation, but hardly an insulting one.
Exactly my point Saint why is it okay that he can make fun of stereotypes when it's regarding black people but when it's about Jewish people it's a problem
A very sensible article on it: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/dec/02/mario-balotelli-guilty-of-naivety-not-racism Such a ****ing shame the BBC has turned to **** and can't produce worthwhile content any more and instead hides behind pseudo-#neutral legalese like "...a post on social media which appeared to contain anti-Semitic and racist references" (which we can now expect to appear at the end of every article mentioning Balotelli for all eternity).
It's also OK for all Spurs fans to chant a known offensive word for Jewish people just because some of them might be Jewish and they might be okay with it. Balotelli having 100% known Jewish connections and 100% known intention of not causing offense doesn't count though?
