http://talksport.com/football/terri...lity-opponents-insists-redknapp-141202127324? He's beginning to sound like Warnock. He is always banging on about how good the opposition are. I'm afraid he's excuses are not good enough.
What a surprise, it's not Harry's fault!!!! With our 0 points away from home, every home game is a must win. And I think that sort of pressure will probably relegate us. Unless someone at the club changes our approach away from home, very, very soon.
Exactly. Does he not realise that it's the way we play away from home that makes the opposition look good?
Assuming we continue as we are, and we lose all away games (has that ever happened before?), we would probably need to win 10 out of our remaining 12 home games.
I'll just stick this in here Nines. Audio is poor
When you compare us against Leicester and Burnley, they play with an attacking intent away from home. Whilst we are just limp and set up to try and nick a point. Very sad to see us perform like this, it's certainly not the Rangers way.
Well the great thing is we have all these high quality opponents to play at home still. Does that mean we will try and shut up shop because they are good, and shut up shop in the other games because we are away? Putting ourselves under huge pressure at home now as Sussex says.
Only way to solve this is for Tony to tear up that new contract and put Harry on a win bonus only. Then we'd see the cu*t have a go
Exactly, too much respect, I never really get it why a team feels the need to employ totally different tactics playing away from home - it's still 11 v 11 on a football pitch - forget about the crowd impact, Spurs certainly have this season away. When Leicester lined up 4-4-2 last Saturday the first thing the announcer indicated was that it was very adventurous of Nigel Pearson lining up that way away from home.
It's exactly this negativity from Harry that is the major problem. All he does is big up the opposition when we play away from home. He's positive for home games!! Totally clueless!
From watching qpr away it's now like when will the opposition score not if and how long can we hold out before the inevitable happen, so frustrating to see and we can all see it yet the tactics don't change. Feel for the fans on away days.
The set-up and style of play don't seem to be that different from the the home games and the main differences are the belief and the energetic pressing (or lack thereof). We have a motivational guru and a management team that have been there and done that ("there" being away and "that" being getting results). You would expect they can at least instill some positivity as a minimum (masterminding tactical tour de forces a bonus). I know our home performances began when the dugout looked more energised and enthused. Can anyone confirm if this is present or missing away? They might be tough opposition, they might be away games but the fixture list isn't an amazing shock and we should be trying to improve ourselves as we stumble though this barren run. After all, we're not playing teams with 100% home records every time.
For those of you interested, 5 of our last 8 games of the season are away. If we are to be in a relegation scrap (which we will be), we are screwed.
