Was just looking at my online bank account direct debits to see if any should be cancelled and among them is my annual £160 odd to the AA. I've been paying that for years and not once have I called them. Reckon if I did break down on a motorway I've paid in enough money to have a top mechanic come and sort out the car while a well fit bird noshes me off in the bushes. Am reluctant to cancel because of this. So... Are you a member of a Roadside Assistance type organisation? Do you think it's value for money?
depends how old your car is. One of mine is covered, one isn't. You really should use the comparison sites for that. One year, I got it for about 50 for the year (home start) from my own company coz i told them i could get it cheaper elsewhere.
Not anymore and no. You can get it with your car insurance for a couple of extra quid a month. I get mine through my bank account though. Pay a tenner a month for a premium account but get holiday and mobile phone and roadside assistance home and abroad and interest on the account, which is more or less half the tenner anyway.
Would that be a nat west account if so the roadside assistance isn't worth anything.. It's a recovery service by some random recovery place to a maximum of six miles from where you break down. Which generally means their garage. Happened to us when we came to swansea. Got recovered to Newport. Was hideous.
No, it's Nationwide and I have used it twice to good effect on her car. No mither both times. I don't need it for mine, it's a work car so I'm covered anyway.
A real man should be able to fix a broken-down car without any assistance from anyone. Roadside assistance is for women,****s and *****s. Why only the other day I noticed the rear left hand brake light on one of the cars had gone. Quick as a flash I was in there, spare bulb, 10mm rachet, bit of elbow grease and know how ... Had her running like a dream again in no time ..
Was waiting for someone to make that joke. I've been working on some healthcare related software and today as I configured a "Therapist" user I was thinking "Wouldn't it be funny if someone came in and said they had an appointment with The Rapist".
