Word on the street is that Zubar loves life in Plymouth.

There's a thought..... How often have we had it rammed down our throats that players won't sign because Plymouth is in the back-end of beyond?? Let's for once try and look at this from a positive angle, Plymouth is further afield yes but don't forget that it is set slap bang in the middle of one of the most stunning coastal environments in the country, a tourist mecca, a slice of sheer-heaven compared to some of the northern hell-holes that are the location of most clubs in this country.

These players must notice it surely? They get to travel to some of the most depraved, miserable northern grot-holes in the land, surely they must realise that Plymouth and wider Devon and Cornwall are like an untouched paradise in comparisson?

It should be made the managers job to take the team-bus on a tour around the hell-holes they visit on away matches to make them realise how good they've got it down in the sunny southwest. The manager should also arrange team-bonding trips out to some of the local beaches and beauty spots so that these players realise that they are lucky enough to be being paid 'huge' sums of money to work in the most sought after region in the UK. Nowhere else in the UK can you see crystal blue Atlantic ocean waves rolling in over golden sands to a warm sunny backdrop.

Great tactic to encourage more players to the region and for good ones to want to stay. If all they see is the Jury's Inn, Union Street and the A38 then no wonder we can't retain anyone.

What better than Grimsby and Hull on the Humber with the delights of Immingham nearby..........strange how Halmosi's career didn't flourish up there.

Swansea and the Mumbles coast is quite pleasant.

And we should lure these players by showing them how loyal the fans are eh DS? That will make their minds up in no time showing them a stack of your posts.

What a load of (usual ) bollox, this coming from a scouser tripehound.

I presume he has not been to North Prospect, Barnes Barton or some of the more scenic parts of Devonport etc - and NO disrespect to those places.

The reason D effing S that some of the midland and northern cities are not blessed by spectacular coastlines and beaches is because they are inland and are by and large old fashioned industrialised locations.

FFS get a grip and eff off:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0172-mooni

Plymborn, this prat deserves everything he gets. He's now telling us how to attract players? And as a Scouser himself it's funny to hear him slagging off grim northern ****holes. I've said this before, if DS want's to join in and have intelligent conversation on here about Argyle thats fine, as long as he apologises for the **** he gave everyone on 606 for years. Where he tried to get fans to boycott games and slagged off anyone and everyone who didn't agree with his point of view and his masterplan which was to spend EVEN MORE MONEY we didn't have.

If he doesn't apologise for his constant preaching and the way he treated people on 606, he can **** off and will get slated by me every time he posts his drivel again. Secret dossiers and inside knowledge which was just the ramblings of a total spanner with a chip on his shoulder because he wanted to see Liverpool playing at Home Park instead of having to watch them on Sky, or Channel 5 in the Euro Mickey Mouse Cup.

    TOSSER.

Scuse me Jock, Stoke are in the Euro Mickey Mouse Cup and MOG, I thought that I WAS sitting on the fence, I didn't really want to be so subtle, but I thought that I would try and spare his feelings, I do have some 'previous' with him.

He stood me up 2 nights running outside the Samaritans office, where I was going to introduce him to some counselling, I asked all of the wino's, druggies, general riff-raff which one was DS, and they said they all were - I know I have done that one before, but for some reason it amuses me, ah well

Hope you greenies get the news you are looking for, today was supposed to be they day was it not, anyway, cheers to one and all with the obvious exception

Well that's another revelation. I never realised I was so lucky to live in a paradise. It took a scouser to inform me after all these years. I'm so grateful I really am. Is there no end to his constant need to inform people like me about things I've lived with all of my life. You keep giving him stick greenjock and oldnickyb, don't give up on the offer of treatment it would be cruel to abandon him now.

Come on guys, give DS a break, he was bigging up the westcountry and what he's saying this time is quite right, it is great down here! I know he mostly winds us all up but really if it's that bad just hit the "ignore" button.

Come on fellas (and lasses) as a reader, and infrequent poster, you have to admit (no matter how grudgingly) that this forum - or the old 606 - wouldn't be the same without Mr BS...sorry I mean Mr DS. So he's a Scouse is he.......well.... we can always ignore him on here I know, but at least we don't have to listen to him. Every time Carragher, Gerrard or Ken Dodd comes on the tele my missus tells me to turn the volume off!!

Typical woman Mrs Reid, a bit of flattery and you flutter your eyelashes.

Sorry GARY987 but he is a total ****er and should be banned from coming outside his house and contacting anyone. Bit like most of the rest of scousers really only they have a court order that enforces it and a tag on their ankle.

No sensible, just taking the post for what it is and not generalising which is exactly what you are doing. You do like to steriotype with all things don't you? I bet he is in hysterics right now at the way you lot bite every time he posts, why give him that pleasure?

Veryoldnickyb how I laughed!! Touched a nerve with you there haven't I? Unfortunately for you, you do actually reside in a real life grim northern hellhole!! Unlucky mate I was getting tubed in perfect turquoise blue Atlantic waves yesterday whilst you were busy blowing the midlands grime out of your nose!! Just for the record people, I am not a scouser, I was born there accidentally whilst my parents were visiting relatives (much to my eternal shame) but I have only ever actually lived there for a very short period in my teens. Anyway cheer up nickyb you could always come down here on your holidays like the rest of the midlands do and get some sun on your pasty white legs!!

Tongue still firmly in cheek Mrs Reid. Of course I stereotype especially regarding persons origins. You know the ones, Whippets, flatcaps and tight being yorkshire etc etc.

Funny how you mention Barne Barton and Demport mickeyb as those very small pockets of rough in plymouth are actually representative of what entire cities are like in the grim north. In Demport blink and you'd miss it, go to Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford, Barnsley, Sheffield, Blackburn, Stoke and other such hell-holes and it's endless miles of decay. They make Barne Barton look like Waikiki Beach!!
