I think Laurent Koscielny is the worst player in the Premier League, possibly in the world.

All he does is stand on the goal line and wait for the ball to hit him and go out.

Shocking player.
 
he's decent, but not the best. and u who call him the worst, do you think anyone else has done better in recent times against barca in our 2-1 win against them?
 
His not that bad to be honest, too much pressure can get to you, his only young.

I think at the moment John Terry and Nemanja Vidic are some of the best centre-backs but I'd have to say David Luiz looks like next season's best.
 
No Chance , he's not even the best centreback at arsenal (that would be Vermaelen)

We conceded 43 league goals last Season. You can make all the excuses you want for that but the truth is any-team that concedes that many does NOT have a world Class defence.

Un-suprisingly Opta stats show Vidic to be the best.

Blocked 1.17 shots per 90 minutes, only five defenders more
One goal conceded per 128 mins on the pitch - the best rate in PL this season.
Won 71% of his duels - the highest proportion in the league
 
His tackling rate is the best in the world, he won 98% of his tackles last season and 100% the season before that (in France).

Those who think he's **** are idiots.
 
Relax people, ignore WUM's.

Look at it from this standpoint:
Your a Premier League manager and you can have a pick of ANY defender in the league, who would you choose? I reckon David Luiz.
