Sterling needs to get out of this habit of grabbing the ball when he goes down.

3 times he's done it today, twice he's got the foul so wasn't as bad but then he didn't as he fell over himself and should have been booked.

Exactly - he should be playing the number 10 role.

It is and it isnt. He over committed himself and needed a crazy diving header from Skrtel to rescue him. Him got back in time for the second attempt which hit the post, after that he was unlucky. But it was his initial error that lead to a very messy situation.

I think it;s clever. He won't get back up in time and the Leicester players will be away. So he stops the play.

We need our players to do snide things like that more often.

And some people think he;s good with his feet.

It's amazing when you take out the scapegoat (Lovren), you can see how sh*t Skrtel is.

Gerrard and Hendo have done sod all.

Overcommitted himself? He came out to the players feet and saved the shot.

Skrtels **** header and Johnson being miles out of position (or Lucas not covering his position after going forward) are more to blame than mig

I just said out loud, when he passes it back he goes across mig forcing him to either take a touch of kick with his left. He needs to learn to play the ball down the line so mig can come into it first time on his right foot

Johnson could have got back a bit quicker but that maybe a bit harsh on him. Will need to check it again.

We really are a mid table side. Outclassed by Leicester. And this isn't the plucky underdog raising their game. We're just actually sh*t. I wonder if Rodgers will ever realise that Gerrard is ineffective in any position you put him in.

Henderson's game is a bit subdued as he is forced to play a more defensive role as Rodgers tries to accommodate Gerrard. We could do with some more runners at Leicester's defense.

Can and Coutinho for Gerrard and Lallana

Skrtel is having a terrible terrible game, it's been even and I think we will actually crack on second half. Wish we had more pace :(

Nope, Skrtel is just as **** as Lovren and both together <grr>. I said the other day that they are the worst CB pairing we've had for a long long time.
Skrtel had a half decent season last year after being threatened, but still he was fairly **** and we all know the defence was poor despite where we finished last season. Would have preferred Agger to stay and Skrtel to have gone in the summer.

We need to get Sakho fit and bring in another top quality CB as soon as. That way Lovren can be cover, Skrtel can go, Ilori and Wisdom can be squad players and Toure can either stay or go.
