Apart from Swindon,The Dons,Preston and Sheff Utd, my take there is not a lot left.

Oldham under LJ are doing well,as our Rochdale who are over achieving, Notts County are a suprise,Peterboro have crashed.

We are in a fine position, and i still say Sheff Utd will come up to second come the end with MK Dons and Preston on there tails.

I think Swindon will fall away, when there loan signings are taken back,This could also be a big blow to MK as well.

However we are in for a super second half of the season, still in two cups one with a Wembley final beckoning.

Oh to dream for the double a return to the championship at the second attempt, and a win at Wembley in the JPT.<party><party><party>

Decent top 7 but I don't see much pressing after that. There is only 2 points separating the top 3. We don't want to finish 3rd, play a team in 6th in the play offs who had about 20 points less than us and end up losing to them.

Important that we win the big games and finish in the top 2. At present its deserved, but there is still a long way to go.

Swindon won't fall away. They'll finish top 4, Preston will be strong all season and will be on our backs until the final ball is kicked, sheff utd will continue to do what they have so far and that's float around in the play offs, We will stay in the top 3 for most of the season. Finishing 2nd.... just can't see us winning it.

MK Dons have still to play Preston and Sheffield United twice. We have played all the top teams once already. We will probably sign some excellent players in January to make sure we go up. I think the other teams should be more nervous of us, than we are of them.

We were fortunate to beat both MK Dons and Chesterfield 3-2.
Bradford and Orient certainly deserved their point and we only beat Colchester in the last few minutes.
Oldham gave us a decent game as well.
    And PNE beat us.

I've been impressed by the football played at AG this season from City and the opposition.

I agree, and don't buy this is a weak league. I bet Swindon are thinking that, having beaten us PNE and Peterbourough.

Don't celebrate until it's safe RR I've never seen us win as champions, but my glass is half full.
I still think there will be shocks ahead of us.

The league is a little less hard than I thought it might be.

I expected PNE, MK Dons and co to be up there. Oldham and Notts County have done very well whereas the likes of Orient, Donny and Yeovil are struggling when I expected them to be strong.

Swindon have said they will need to sell in January if their gates dont improve.

Good result for MK Dons at Sheff Utd last night. If they win their last game in hand they will overtake us.

    I don't think it's a weak league.

The attacking/quality of football has been very good. I think defensively nearly everyone has been poor?

It's not a league that has many teams who dont concede and 0-0 draws are fairly rare. To be honest it's called League 1 but it's still the good old 3rd Division and there have always been loads of goals in this league and the one below us

Exciting months ahead. Important that we convert draws to wins as that has been our Achilles so far. Huige games against the other contenders. So far we're average against those teams.
