Yeah he's changed so much but they've kept it realistic, the comment last night "you've been out there too long" was very true and I feel that there's a divide, Glenn and Maggie recognised the change in him and wanted to move on but others still have faith it's very complex at the moment and I think the 2nd part of the season will be brilliant.

  2. He was always distant / his own man even in the first season, its just a lot quieter and stern with it now. A zero tolerance and heartless approach. Only time he shows emotion is with his kids although he did appear upset last night when a certain person was hurt.

I think he's torn at the moment between the old Rick that was harsh but fair and the new Rick who protects his own and everyone other than his group dies if they are out of line the last season has seen Glenn and Maggie move away from him and Darryl look to calm him down aswell as the slaughter in the church. He's defo changed this season and he's a brilliant character but he has to be dragged back from the edge before he goes too far.

I've always seen the programme as can you keep your humanity when the world around you has gone to s**t and that's what I find interesting about it.

  4. He did the normality questions when he meet the priest. I know what you mean though

Hope I can get hold of Interstellar this weekend, really want to watch it. The new Hobbit film looks good, looking forward to watching it as one film.

hobbit part 2 was pish... its like anything split into more than needed... eg that part 1/2 of hairy slotter or hungergames etc etc... its just a money making scheme not a story telling one.

Hobbit is one book. there is not 2 movies in it never mind 3. so the whole addition of legolas to the story proved that.

Yeah it has been strung out but I think it may work as one very long film.

Maybe so... I have to say though the dwarves in the movies especially first one were god awful and the king thorin is in particular a ham.

I agree, it's nothing special but an enjoyable film imo. It was never going to be as good as LOTR so I've enjoyed it for what it is so far.
