I've been impressed with what I've seen from Martinez so far. He is a confident keeper who does the basics very well. He's a good shot stopper (against Dortmund) and he doesn't come rushing out to try and get to balls that he can't reach (Szczesny). I also like his distribution and kicking and he's a fairly imposing figure in the goal. Very decent back up keeper and he's done well being thrown in at the deep end, he's been given his chance and taken it well.
Szcesney is good, good enough and will get better. This guy is good too. Not sure about Ospina 'coz i havent seen him yet.
Martinez deserves a lot of credit. He came into the team when things weren't going too well for us but he's kept his composure and given a mature account of himself.
Hasn't had a massive amount to do in any of his games but has looked decent. Will hopefully give Chesney something to think about...
It's hard to single out Martinez when the defence was a shambles. The defence needs to be in harmony with its keeper. If the defence in front of the keeper is iffy, then this will only affect he keepers confidence, which will contribute to mistakes.
He's been decent. Hasn't really done anything wrong. Since Gala is a dead rubber I'd just play a weakened side and have him play. Chesney is still number 1 though.
