After no deliberation and a promise that the floodlights at turf moor will turn off at 20.01 exactly, I have decided to vote for jakarta

In a closely fought contest which had the World on it's feet as the seconds counted down towards the deadline for submissions Jak produced a sensational last minute headline to beat the hot favourite Trevor into second place.

Glory and praise be given to the inaugural winner of the Headline Competition Jak was the cry from all and sundry even from his most fierce rivals.

Jak when presented with his trophy was overcome with emotion and his thank you speech was mostly lost among his tears and sniffles although the words " I owe it all to Trevor" could be made out.

On a side note there was one small hitch at the awards ceremony when a lone, drunken voice from the back was heard to shout "I'm cressfallen". Only then did the rest of the TV audience realise, although the judges had been aware of this from the start, that Boro Gully's submission was not in fact a "clever play" on words but simply the ramblings of an uneducated lout who could not speak English correctly. After a two minute struggle, Boro Gully was able to be evicted from the building but not without calling out "I'll be buck" as his death grip was eventually released from the doorframe. Time will tell.

New Headline Game for tonights match. Will do separate thread as have worked out how to do polls but not change/update etc nor even download and show images?!?!

How do I lodge an official complaint Trevwillfixit?

 

Firstly, you need to e-mail my Nigerian Uncle your bank account details on iamemptyingyourbankaccount@ wally .com.

This is just a procedural step and a gesture of good faith.

Secondly, you need to send me a cheque for £50.00 being the fee required to start a complaint process.

Thirdly, send ABC full details of the complaint, for example, grounds for appeal, reasons why you're whinging that sort of thing.

Finally I then just ignore it and continue as if nothing has happened.

 

So was Pouch's third vote after the deadline or did you just decide to ignore him.

Not that I'm trying to defend him. I just want to know the official stance before I start mocking.

 

Ill give your wife some notice if you don't sort those lights out.

 

This is exactly the sort of thing which gets a site a bad name. Of course the third vote was within the deadline.

I don't understand this squabbling. I got the same number of votes as you so why can't you just accept gracefully that I have won. This pettiness just devalues this important competition and undermines what until this was a great moment for me and my family.

Anyway I would just like to thank those who have believed in me through the hard times. Bam Bam, Fredd and Ose Mon Repose. Its your support that has kept me going when others might have quit. I would like to thank my wife. After all she is going to make the ultimate sacrifice but I have heard that Ose Mon Repose is a gentle and considerate lover. I apologise to the other two but he was the only one who voted after i made this offer. I would also like to thank the organisers and sponsors for all their efforts. I'ts a thankless task, with little reward (don't forget to send your bank account details by email Trev).

I would like to continue to support this competition and hope that it won't be ruined by these complaints. It says a lot about certain people when they can't enter into the true spirit of the competition.

Anyway I would like to leave you with my latest headline. BORO GULLY SULLIES HEADLINE COMPETITION. I hope that's simple enough for him.
