The most amazing thing about this, from looking at his instagram, is that there are clearly still people in the world who think he is good at football
This. It was very silly, but appears to have been meant innocently and he presumably thought being black and having a Jewish mother meant people would see the irony.
Mad Mario looks set to face an fa charge and a 5 game ban for a post to his instagram page. please log in to view this image And his apology https://mobile.twitter.com/FinallyMario/status/539692104453476352/photo/1
Good - makes the decision for us. Was a gamble which I must admit I thought would pay off. It hasn't - lets get rid. AC or Inter for him.
No way those two would want him back. Napoli (although don't think Rafa would want him), Fiorentina or someone in Turkey
I totally agree with you, it's pathetic how everyone jumps on it but it is obvious to me that's exactly what would happen so don't post it ffs!
Especially can't see Mancini taking him to Inter. Not sure if AC would take him back, though Silvio's not a fan.
Can everyone stop being a bunch of fannies. Its a ****ing meme thats meant in good spirits. No different from Irish people being cast as drunks , or English people being cast as ****s or Scots as violent or Welsh as sheep shaggers. Jews are known for their love of money so what. I wonder will the IESW rights movement report me to mick for that post
Some people seem genuinely to have no grasp of the concept of irony, or sarcasm, or any form of communication that is not meant to be taken literally and at face value (no wonder I get into trouble so often). Such people will take offence where clearly none is intended, which is why footballers, amongst others, really should keep their gobs shut. Of course others, such as some of our "friends" above, will take any opportunity to stick the boot in, and will fan the flames of any conflagration in order to score a cheap point.
A homeless man died not 50 yards from our parliament in Dublin yesterday morning. A satirical website Waterford Whispers News went with the headline " Government say homeless figures down by 1" The article was having a go at the govt. and their spin and also highlighting the homeless problem but it seemed every tom dick and harry was offended by it. The offensive thing in my eyes is how a poor soul could lose his life in the shadow of a building where the people inside claim more benefits than anyone.
Great example that. The problem these days is that social media has given the perma offended fannies that have always existed, a very prominent and immediate voice. Years ago, arsey from Aylesbury could only vent his spleen in a strongly worded letter to the Mail. Now he can go straight on social media and express how mortally offended he is by some innocuous facile comment.
