BBCi player is only available inside the UK, you may find what you are looking for on youku.

most vpn's don't work here either, part of the firewall, if you do get one to work then it gets blocked once the system here discovers what you are trying to watch. For future visits, download a vpn back in the UK before you come over here, that tends to work ok.
