I hate pundits who act as if they know it all yet shied away from the reall challenges of footbal management.

I do however like Lee Dixon, and for very obvious reasons Ray Wilkins...but he has pedigree in management/ coaching so doesn't count

As for that fat fook Moyles...

 

Hansen has always said that he chose not to be a manager because he didn't have the bottle so fair play to him for admitting that. His punditry has got a lot worse in the last few years though, just uses the same cliches rather than something interesting.

 

Hanson is the best pundit around.

Townsend, although a ****, is also a good pundit in my opinion.

 

I would gladly pay £600,000 to be alone with a chain saw & baseball bat, down a dead end alley with Chris"fat & talentlees" Moyles & Liam"Neanderthal" Gallagher where I would redefine the terms pain and suffering!

I agree with Townsend being a **** but a good commentator?I think he talks utter Bollocks, states the obvious and has to retract almost every "absolute certainty" that has ever left his mouth, total idiot in my book and a real downer on the game when this tool is the commentator.Saying that he is light years ahead of that cock-jockey Alan"its all about me"Green, now there is a useless clown.

 

Ah, but Townsend gave us the Tactics Truck and for that we should all be truely thankful.

I love it when people say pundits are all ****. Who is a good pundit then? What makes a good pundit? It's okay going on about who's **** but if your not gonna mention who's any good, or how to be good it's just pointless.

 

Cammy! Knowledge of the game, and a good personality so you can listen to him without contemplating smashing your face in. Also, no or little bias to any team.

 

True, it seems fashionable to hate public figures which I think is pretty depressing and sad. I think the best pundits are Le Tissier, Kamara, Souness and Dixon.

 

If I didn't know this already, then I'd never know that Dixon was a City fan. Kammy is always good for the entertainment factor more than anything else. Credit to the guys that do Europa League games on ITV4. Usually showing teams that the British public don't often see but usually do a good job, unfortunately that does include the tactics truck man himself Andy Townsend. Funnily enough, Pat Nevin on five does a similar thing now.
