My Leeds hat on and I would agree with you, neutral hat on and the guy should never be allowed near a football club. We knew this was a gamble and the gamble might have failed. I can't blame the FL they are after him as he skirted around the rules on technicalities, he would fail a fit and proper test every day of the week, we have to be honest. On another note so would and should a lot of other chairmen.

Scuse me poking in and sorry if this is asked elsewhere, all I've read is that he's disqualified and has a period to appeal, presumably it's the Italian Court issue with the boat?

If he is banned, what happens to the Club ownership?

It will take longer than that to hear the appeal. the problem comes if he gets found guilty of the second yacht.

    Red Bull anyone?

Sorry, Ristac, but cannot agree with you here (surprise, surprise!). You have to remember the circumstances of what happened here. He employed a tax accountant at very great expense to see to his tax affairs. The Consultant failed in his duty, and Cellino has to pay the price for his ineptitude. In my book, you cannot be considered dishonest if a third party has been employed to do a job for you & fails. If this consultant had been asked by Cellino to deliver a package to another office, should Cellino be charged if the Consultant is done for drunk driving whilst carrying out the delivery? Not the best analogy, I know, but hopefully it illustrates the difference between first & third person culpability. The difference is either being responsible for a deliberately dishonest act, or being responsible for someone else's error/ineptitude. clearly not the same thing in my book.

Calm down everyone I know I sound and probably look like Michael Winner but MC didnt get where he is today by not having a plan B which I think will mean his children becoming owners a bit like the Oyston family but when it came to taking £13m he got it !

That is with your Leeds hat on believing what Cellino has said. Take that hat off and he is as shady as they come. Yes we have to deal with the facts so based on those alone and as we do not know the real truth then I would agree with you.

All stupid anyway as he can take a leave until March and be back in the hot seat just in time to prepare us for a new season. Never a dull moment <ok>
