Well perhaps you are right, but then does that not highlight my point even more? Are we activly trying to find clubs for these youth players or do we wait for teams to come in for them? I really can't believe Scarborough is the best club Cracknell could've gone to to further his developement.

In the specific case of Cracknell, I think he's been overtaken by Watson at City and we probably just wanted him to get some competitive football somewhere, we're rather limited by the amount of clubs who actually need an emergency loan keeper at this stage in the season.

I agree that our players should be getting competitive experience but not many, if any clubs our size have any actual formal relationships with clubs. I would think the deal with Tranmere for Aimson and CJM has probably come about because someone from City has spoken to them to see if they'd want to take the two of them on loan.

It's also worth considering that Southampton who seem to be the academy everyone is aspiring towards at the moment, rarely, if ever use the loan system and prefer to give their players experience in their own first team.

Southampton do still loan their kids out, they've got two out at Swindon and one at Hibs this season.

Way to miss the point numbnuts. This is CTWD, as an official entity, purporting to represent the biggest fans forum. When, they do not. I, along with many others want **** all to do with CTWD, their hidden agenda and their chairman and his "comedy" ****ing hipflask.

Why don't CTWD let us carry on doing our own threads, and getting someone from this forum to ask our questions? Why do they need to try and usurp that arrangement? Why don't they actually just represent their members, and use their own website and forum for that? It can't possibly still not be up can it? Not being used? I'd love to hear the excuses on that one.

I thought the agreement was for that CTWD handle to be used to garner views on CTWD, not to use it as a way to make sure they're the big lad in the playground who takes everyone's dinner money. We do not need them. We do not want them. Well, some of you might, so why don't you join them, and use their own internal communication mechanisms to talk to them?

    Oh. You can't.

Kinell, why would anyone want that bunch of clowns near our club is baffling.

Ah the other face of OLM, the one quite a few of us know.

Yeah, that's why I don't want those ****s claiming to represent me or the majority of fans who are not a member of their little firm.

Nobody is stopping you doing your own threads, this is a CTWD thread for anyone who wants us to raise an issue, you obviously don't, so it would be nice if you didn't derail the thread and simply left if for anyone who does.

The website is finished and will go live this weekend.

I wasn't being aggressive or abusive, why do you feel the need to do so? Does it make you feel superior? I was merely pointing out that the fans group is organised by the club, with their agenda, and inviting the people they want to attend. No-one is claiming to represent you, so if you would like me to do so I will bring it up as a minuted item that the fans attending specifically don't represent the views of the person on Not606 known as Happytiger. Or you could e-mail James Mooney and tell him, although as he reads this forum he probably knows.

They are also the club who said if you a loan player to a lower league club you get a lower league player back. They tend not to loan out the players they think are going to make it to the top, and very few clubs do tbh in the grand scheme of things. I would be surprised if 1 in 20 loan players make it at the club that loaned them out.

Hull FC are renting it off Hull City (Ideal Standard Ground)
Bishop Burton is permanent, until told otherwise.
OPE ? Are you having a laugh ? Besides the sites are earmarked for housing.

I have a quite serious question that needs asking:

At the end of every game, for those of us that have moved over to the North Stand and walk back to the city centre, we're forced by stewards and police to stay where we are and aren't allowed to go passed the main security gates to walk back to the city centre as we have to walk passed the away fans - yet they allow away fans through our way which totally defeats the object and baffles people why away fans are free to move about however they like, and Hull City fans are penned in and treated like animals.

Why is it one rule for one set of fans, and another rule for the other set of fans? When asked why, the stewards and police have no logical explanation as to why it is done.

Some weeks home fans have tried to peaceful walk through the gates and have been slammed against the stadium wall by stewards which causes a commotion in the crowds which wouldn't have started if they'd just let home fans through. I can see something major happening if this isn't addressed soon, as home fans are getting more and more irritated as each home game passes.

What makes it even more stupid is that the security gates are split down the middle so they could filter home fans to the left and away fans to the right - yet instead they choose to hold the City fans back.
Most grounds hold the away fans back until the home crowds have dispersed, then let them out - but no, we do things backwards to piss our own fans off!

The move to the North Stand without consulting the fans affected wasn't a good day for the club.

We have seen two groups trying to improve the atmosphere who didn't want to move into the North Stand. These are in the East and the South.

I think we should ask the club on Tuesday to e-mail pass-holders in the East and South to see if they would like to see a "singing" section created in their stand similar to the one in the North. They could ask if they would be prepared to move into it to improve the atmosphere or, if not, whether they would be prepared to move to accommodate such a section. Special arrangements should be made for those that want to move out of any singing section. Leaving them to find seats with everyone else does not foster a good relationship with fans.

I would think the back rows of E4 to E6 would be a good starting point. How many would depend on the responses to the e-mail. I think the singing in the South is around the South East corner, but would guided by people in the South. I think encouraging families to start singing would be good for the future of our club.

The club has the e-mail addresses already so its not going to cost anything other then staff time. It could be put on Facebook and Twitter to encourage a response.

I was taught, if you don't ask you don't get. The club could say no, but it may say yes.

We start from where we are, some people are not going to move into the North so why not get them together with other singers in the East and the South.

Boxing the away supporters in between singers in the North and East has its attractions as well.

A very good post . This has been mentioned by me many times on here . Good luck with getting any response at all from the club .

I'm fed up of been treated like **** at my own club with away fans walking by and laughing at us because the police are holding the home fans back from simply going home

Please would somebody raise this issue with the club just so it's on record at least

think we need to start making some of the ground unreserved seating so people can naturally congregate together...yes theres a loss of crowd capacity but its not like were selling out anyway and personally i think it would be worth the small sacrifice !

It's a complete farce and nobody knows why it is happening.

Every game that goes by, the City fans patience with the stupid set-up gets less and less - in a few home games time, I can see it building up and getting to the point were people will charge the gates and someone will get seriously hurt - and you can bet your last penny it will be 'Hull City fans' fault'.

It's an issue that's been raised at every fan meeting I've ever been at, it's the main reason we've been trying to get a fan on the SAG to challenge these things.

There was a specific game a long while back(I thnk it was Cardiff) where things kicked off and the fence saved the day and it's been used as justification ever since.

Obviously other clubs don't have them now, it causes more aggravation than it prevents and hopefully it will be binned before long.

What winds the City fans up more is that away fans are free to walk through the gate into the 'City areas', but not the other way around - so the gates aren't even used as a means of keeping the two sets of fans separate - there is no reason to justify it - the rule is in place simply to piss off North Standers. It just causes aggravation more than anything and you can see the anger rising game after game.

The gate also splits down the middle, so if they wanted to, they could siphon away fans through one side, and home fans through another.

They still have this kind of arrangement at Stoke. A city that's just entered the 1990s.
