Peeters lashed out at TBH after the game for dribbling up the pitch and losing the ball. Fair enough, but he did this in public, not in private to the player's face. In fact Bob said that he did not go into the dressing room after the game in case he said something he regretted on Monday. Let's hope this is just a one-off, or Bob could be on the slippery slope.

I haven't got a problem with Bob digging TBH out.

Anyone who watched the game can see that TBH monumentally ****ed up...!!

I find the fact that he says what he sees and doesn't pull any punches very refreshing.

TBH is an experienced old pro who should know better. I'm sure he'll hold his hands up and take the criticism on the chin.

However, I'm sure TBH will also politely point out that he has been pivitol to our success thus far this season.

Bob is a man under pressure. The 12 month contract is ticking away, and he has to deliver an improved league position to get a new one. He knows that RDs track record shows he won't blink if he needs to fire him, yet he needs RD to sign us a decent striker in Januray. The rumours about De Melo suggests RD is still looking in Lidls rather than even Asda.

You can get decent tasting Caviar in Lidls, not to mention the champagne, but yes often its left overs coming up to their sell by date. A matter of getting there at the right time.

Don't you have any problem with where he said it though, ie to the cameras and not to the player?

Nope... they'll have a chat on Monday (tomorrow) and it'll get sorted out.

I would've had a problem if it was Fox or Pope who had ****ed up and he dug them out publicly. They are young inexperienced pros with fragile confidence, and such public condemnation could damage them.

TBH on the other hand has bags of experience and nobody really needs to tell him that he ****ed up badly. He will know all too well that doing what he did, when he did was lunacy.

The fact that the gaffer said what he said when he did is therefore immaterial really.

Just my opinion, but I really think a mountain is being made out of a molehill here.

I thought fox was to blame for a lot of the final 5 minutes. Poor clearance after poor clearance.

Also thought TBH had a good game, not as good as bikey, but still assured. Maybe after this public criticism we will see the arrival of Gomez at centre back?

I noticed that Fox made a clearance from a corner at the far post and followed it out since he was the only player on the spot. He went to go back into position, but Solly waved him to stay where he was. Ipswich spotted him out of position and played the ball over to where he should be, and when the ball came over from our left ironically it was Fox who was unable to clear properly, and they scored. At least that's how I saw it at the time.

Missed the solly bit - and had some sympathy as he must have been dead on his legs. But his kicks just kept inviting pressure. And the attempted clearance to Hunt must be a harsh lesson learnt.
