Question 1: Out of the last 6 games how many points did you expect to get? Arsenal (A) Liverpool (A) Southampton (H) Burnley (A) Tottenham (H) Man Utd (A) You could argue that only Burnley we should expect to get points off - but they are our voodoo team. Personally I had hoped for 3 points. We got 2. It isn't far off. Question 2: Out of the next 6 games, how many points do you expect to get? Everton (A) West Brom (H) Chelsea (A) Swansea (H) Sunderland (A) Leicester (H) 3 very winnable home games there for me so I would be looking for a minimum of 8 points. I really do think any of the Bruce-out panic-merchants should be reserving their judgement until at least the end of January given the fixtures we have had and have coming up - and the lesser difficulty we will face.,
On current form we are going down mate. Now Whilst many who I rub shoulders with home and away wouldn't normally shed many tears at that though, a growing number don't actually give a fu ck anymore so long as the cun t who is supposedly running the club stays in town. Dolan out.
With the 3 home games we should pick up at least 9 points. Everton and Chelsea away is fair enough but Sunderland away? We love playing Sunderland. Point minimum from there and I agree 10 points should be picked up.
1. 6pts 2. 15pts* * Everton (A) W West Brom (H) W Chelsea (A) L Swansea (H) W Sunderland (A) W Leicester (H) W
pretending yesterdays performance didn't happen - i expect nothing less than 7pts from those upcoming games . 1 win and 4 draws - id be happiest if our points came from fellow strugglers - we have to get at teams - this season despite an improved defence its being breached too often we could easily be on 19/20pts right now n all .
I think it is unfair to judge on current form given that we have played a lot of top clubs recently. Fish out.
Burnley wasn't just 3 points lost, it was more like 6 points as they are candidates for relegation. It was a 6 point swing.
Question 1: 4 Question 2: 10 - 3 Wins 1 Draw 2 Defeats - I would take 8 which would put us back on track for a point a game. Personally i think we will put a run together to keep us safe, but we need to find our best side and stick with it, yesterday wasn't it in my eyes. If we get 10 points i would be delighted and i think we would still comfortable between 12th-16th and there would be some renewed optimism going into January and with one more signing we would see ourselves easily safe. Lets be honest staying up is still our ultimate goal.
I've been to Burnley six times and if anyone ever gets their tits out, it will be the best thing that ever happened in a Burnley game. The Geo sending off game is the worst game i've been to in 40 years of supporting City, the ridiculous Jay Jay sending off at home and whoever else it was(Folan?) wasn't much better. Burnley is a ****hole, Burnley games are ****, I not only hope they are relegated, I hope they are all doused in petrol and torched one by one, while having their testicles clamped in a rusty vice.
