Villa Game

Exciting time for me....I'm coming back to Blighty for Christmas and will get to the game against Hull on Boxing day. However I could do with some help or advise. My grandson(who is now 10) lives in Coventry and has had his mind poisoned by his dad(who claims to support Man u at the moment). I would dearly love to take the boy(and his dad I guess) to see the mighty SAFC play, giving him the chance to continue the family tradition of being Red and White forever but I'm told he's not allowed to come with me on Boxing day. Villa is close to his home and will be only chance that I can get to do this before returning to Oz. Problem is .....how do I get tickets for this game?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated, its so difficult to sort this sort of thing from the other side of the world.

 

If you really struggle I may be able to help.

I'm good mates with a director at Villa and he might be able to spring some tickets.

He's already promised me some freebies so you'd probably have to pay though.

Just done a rough count. seems to be about 2200 tickets left so we're over the 45000 mark plus to days pick ups. Good crowd.

 

Just spoken to one of my 'sources' and there's a chance of a couple.
Would it be an adult & a child?

 

I'm coming back for exactly the same two games with my bairn.

This is the fifth year we'll have done the festive trip back, and we've always got tickets for the away games.

Mind you, I've always been paranoid about it and got my application in about half a second after general sale started!

Got up at 3.30 a.m. to watch the game today. Heart in mouth for 90 minutes..WOW!

Atmosphere seemed incredible....roll on boxing day, I've got the goose bumps and butterflies just thinking about it.

I've just texted the lad and will e-mail the Villa fella. If he can only get home tickets I'll let you have my away tickets and take a chance on getting transferred, they won't want me in with the home fans

To be on the safe side you should ask WMS etc to try from their ends.
