Blackpool Chairman said they are not under pressure to sell. Can they afford to let Adam go for free.? Certainly not; I think the real problem is the amount Ian Holloway is going to receive whenever Adam is sold.To Ian Holloway, his cut is more important than the future of Adam. Right now, bidding war has been avoided because Adam wants to play for Liverpool. Can they keep Charlie Adam in Blackpool against his wish.? It is a waiting game.
That'd be terrible. Adam wants to go, he's already alienated by his team mates and Holloway wants to keep him there? As a player I'd probably try and pay the rest of my contract off and go to Liverpool.
Let Holloway keep him then we can sign him for free next season and Holloway gets **** all.If we need him next season that is.
Wait, why don't Nasri, Clichy, Adam, N'Zogbia and all the rest of the players entering their last year of their contracts just buy it out? I'm sure clubs who sign 'em will be happy to pay a large signing on fee. Out of the above Adam wants to leave the most, so why don't he just pay off his contract? Bosman rules and whatnot. Even if his getting paid £100,000 a week, it only comes to £5.2million and it would be a good price for Adam. I'm sure he'll probably be getting paid half of that aswell. Just a thought.
is it possible that there could be a no compete clause in their contracts should they buy them out? Back when I was a kid I used ot watch wrestling (like most kids) and I remember when WWE took over WCW a lot of the wrestlers didn't want to compete in the WWE due to the amount of time the WWE spend touring so they brought out their contracts but on doing so they activated a no compete clause meaning they couldn't compete for a rival for 12 months (12 months was the standard on those contracts but i'm sure it could be changed to fit the criteria of a footballer)
The blackpool wages were capped at £10k a week in general last year although I recon Adam was probably on about £20k as captain. That would make his remaining wages about 1m which considering his lowish wage he wont have lying around. Anyway he's not the type of player to do that to the club that he is captain of and would be less desirable if he did. The deal will go through this summer its just a matter of time, blackpool will need to reinvest the money in players too! so i dont think it will be to long now.
to me the player is simply not good enough to merit a bidding war nor the fee so if someone wants to step in and pay it fine. lets elave it unteil auguest 30th and then offer 5mil. if they refuse, come back in january.
The later Blackpool leave it til the end of the window the more they reckon they'll get As for Holloway, ego is bigger than Blackpool, even licking Bacon faces arse having a public rant about Rooney over the leaving fiasco, what a muppet. Send the general after him!
- I hope come transfer deadline day we don't buy him if we haven't already. Ian Holloway is trying to get the best price to get the best cut he can.

Blackpool might not be under any financial pressure to sell but you don't say no to £5-6M for a player when your club is in the championship. They might not need the money but it would be incredibly useful to them. I don't expect him to be in a Blackpool shirt come the end of the transfer window.
If Adam is that desperate to leave he could always do a William Gallas and threaten to score deliberate own goals until they sell him
People, I can feel the anger and frustration, and I have one thing to say, chill, bitches! It'll all work out in the end, we might buy him, we might not. The people who like him, won't think it's the end of the world if we don't get him, while the people who don't want him probably wont mind if we only pay a few million for him. If Henderson is worth 16M, then Adam is good business at 6M. So let's chill and fondle out man eggs in our pants and think happy thoughts...it's all good people!
