could have 4 here.. ****ing hell.............. our goal difference could put us in bottom 3 by end of day
Robertson has been absolutely ****ing atrocious today. He was the one who should have come off first half, I don't think he's made a single pass to a city player all day.
Unfair to single out the young lad when all around him have played either like total ****s or total strangers
Would you like the Samaritans number? I agree we are very poor at present but pack in the wallowing and doom mongering.
Basing it on the Luke Shaw fee he certainly has the potential to be. Yet his young age and lack of top level experience does show in his consistency and I don't think he's ready to be playing week in week out at this level yet. He's had only a handful of bad games and I think that goes to show the occasion has got to him today. Not that I wouldn't have started him myself, but I wouldn't have left him to run a flank on his own, and when I did I wouldn't have left him on to get bullied and battered and embarrass himself. This game is going to crush his confidence, he's been woeful and getting worse as the game goes on. He should have been brought off for his own good, and the teams.
I think that brings to light just how big a player Tom Huddlestone is for us, even when he's playing ****. He sits back, breaks up play, makes things tick over and allows the others freedom to play a bit. We've missed him today.
I thought we played unusually shiote at Burnley, but after watching this game then maybe that's our new standard performance. This has worrying shades of continuing along the path of form from the end of last season, even with different personnel.
