Except they have done quite a bit lately and have risen to 4th place before today. They havent been the Man U from the first few weeks in quite a while.

It was all going well until allam opened his big ****ing trap and rendered the club a laughing stock.

I normally try to be positive but this afternoon has been dreadful. No attempt to get at them at all and we're playing like a team of strangers. We need to get a grip over half time. If we drop into the bottom 3 tonight, I'd rather do it with a bit of fight.

I agree but we need to get a goal back in the first 20 mins. You never know we could get a point.

Going back to this. The only game they've been given a chance in their proper positions was against Spurs. We looked a good team, until the sending off.

It's the effort that's worse. The score line is kind to us. No marking, no tracking, no pressing. Every opposition players are in acres of space. When we have got the ball we're playing like we've just met each other. No passion, no desire and very disappointing.

They certainly aren't playing well as a team, there are no partnerships working anywhere on the pitch. This is when someone is gonna say that we're missing Thudd, unfortunately it looks much worse than that to me, it looks like we have no idea how to push forward, or even retain possession, as someone has already said this game looks embarrassingly like attack v defence.

I'm not one for knee-jerk reactions to managers, but even those who support Bruce entirely must agree that he has fallen short tactically on too many an occasion. Today is a perfect example of this. Play stupidly deep with one up front against a team with a worse defence than us, so we don't even threaten them. Sit back and allow their much more skilled attackers to play football and give them plenty of corners and free-kicks in dangerous positions. Playing Ben Arfa out of position then taking him off for not doing what you want is just stupidity, you know what you are getting with him - a brilliant technical winger - not a workhorse looking to track back.

I don't blame the players for the first half, there was nothing they could really do different with what they were given, good performances from Dawson and Livermore in particular, but anyone could see that setting up in that 5-4-1 was never going to work.

Players don't give a ****, but Bruce needs to motivate them. They remind me of Qpr when they first came up.

Bring on Ashbee and Brabin, at least knock chunks out of the opposition instead of watching them play

We're losing to a team with team that cost £250m.

Honestly what do people really expect?

We're in our second back in the Premier League. I think people need to realise that.

Some people have let the Premier League to get there head and are behaving like we're a established Premier League club.

We do look like relegation fodder. Disappointingly expensively assembled relegation fodder. I haven't seen us play particularly well in any game this season, Spurs home first half maybe. The rest of the time we look just ****e. Just what has happened to our defence? We don't look like we could defend against a pub team at present.

I think you've got your answer, Chazz. The number of games Patty's been to this season is a big, fat ZERO.

That's bull ****. Teams regularly go to Old Trafford and give them more of a game than we are. Team value or squad assembly cost is irrelevant.
