We kept clean sheets early last season with this defense.

I think Rodgers has looked and thought Johnson & Enrique are more physical than Manquillo and Moreno so would deal with Stoke better, plus Johnson offers more in the air when defending set pieces than Manquillo.

I'd expect one of them to come back in against Leicester unless this defence plays really well today.

Johnson offers nothing. For his size, you'd expect him to compete in the air but he doesnt because he's a coward.

Why the **** is Can ignored again. He had 2 excellent games and haven't had a look since then. Somehow most fans are convinced Allen is of any use. In Hendo and Allen we have 2 headless chickens who can't spell creativity. Hendo needs all the time in the world to pick a pass forward, if he's pressed he'll keep passing back all day. Allen doesn't pass it forward either way. I wouldn't mind playing just one of them, we need that energy, Hendo preferably, at least he's not a stick and he's obviously got more to his game.

If we're thinking Long term, Cluless Brenda is certainly not the option. Never wished we lose, But hope we get twated by Stoke today so the clueless chum gets his marching orders first thing in the morning.

  7. I wouldn't say Johnson is more physical or better in the air than Mankiller but fair enough with Moreno

  8. Looking at the bench there perhaps just wasn't room as he wanted Moreno in there; Jones, Lovren, Moreno, Gerrard, Can, Markovic and Lallana.

No striker in there either, is Borini injured too...?

Was going to give Rodgers the benefit of doubt and say he must be injured. But if not, then he's clueless. Cannot defend him anymore.

I think Agger played those first three games, but then he got injured and Skrtel came in.

Jermaine Jenas just called Rodgers a good English coach on the BBC...

Yep, it was Agger and Toure. But we sold Agger and kept the fraud that is Skrtel.

    Christ, this game is painful.

I read a stat the other day.

We have kept only 22 clean sheets under Rodgers. Agger started in 20 of them.

Yep saw that as well. Agger had regressed but he was still the leader and he made others play better.

And Agger is quite vocal on and off the pitch, and Rodgers doesn't like players who stand up and challenge him.

    Rodgers persisting with 4-2-3-1.

    Absolutely clueless.

We do also have to take into account that Agger has been injured a lot. Could we really rely on him any longer?
