I bet you one of Robbo's pies you will be back the smaller clubs as you put it can and do survive in the premier league, your problem is that you have learned nothing about being a league one team, but now you are no better than any other championship side, your massive failures have taught you little, we got to the premier league on merit if we come down after one season that will be on merit also!
Sell him, he int good enough for prem, which if i remember rightly, is where we wanna be, McCormack and Somma are good enough to fire us up, with Snoddy, Gradel and Nunez involved too, we're a sure thing to go up, just need to sort out the awful defence
Don't think you really know what you're talking about QSS. Becchio is amply good enough for the PL, & I for one want him in our team this season to help us get to the PL. Although you're entitled to a view, at least make it an intelligent one.
hahaha amply good enough, ur gd with the jokes boggle. Becchio is a gd striker at this level, although he has one shot every other week, falls over over as he scores, EVERY time. He's a white Emile Heskey im afraid, credit tho, he's done well but he's worth only a million or so, sell him. Jason Scotland and Marlon King were better in the championship and look how they got on in the prem, awful lmao. Somma and McCormack are way better. I do no what im talking about btw, think you'll find my diploma in football management/sport backs that up, I knew Somma was a top striker before he started a Leeds game, and ive said the same about Nunez, hmmmmmmmmmm its all coming together. ooo and I sed Paynter was awful, thanks thats 3/3 Cheers boggle
QSS, i wouldnt exactly say somma is a top striker... he's good as an impact sub but still has so much to learn about his game, and im not entirely sure becchio is good enough for the PL but at the moment hes better than somma. Im not gonna comment about mccormack because i've seen two of his games which were the last two of the season and i liked what i saw but im not too sure whether he can be consistent enough. Back to the point though, becchio works his ass off and the current formation wouldn't work with any other striker leeds have, its far too hard these days to find a good hold-it-up striker who can win headers also. And just another thing how did you KNOW that somma was good before even stepping on the pitch? because i doubt you studied him train or watched full lengths of his games before
Somma's like a carbon copy of Scotland but with less pace. Does bugger all work but pops up with a goal now and then at the detriment of the team. He'd flunk in the Prem, Becchio would probably get you 10 goals.
McCormack or Somma would make a great partnership with Becchio. And with Gradel bangin goals in we're a sure thing if we can sort out that back line.
If we needed to play 4-4-2 yes, but I see no need to change from 4-2-3-1 which gets the best out of our 4 best players.
It needs doing in certain situations, altho I can imagine the 4-2-3-1 will work a lot better if we have someone in midfield who isn't useless propping up howson.
Well said. Does my head in, I read yesterday that Paddy has already agreed a deal at Palace. fantastic journalism. he is at thorp arch.
QSS - Can we see copy of your diploma? I'm presuming it was a practical because anything you write is illegible. No cheap internet diploma either!
I would also like to see a copy of this - you can cover your name up with a bit of paper but I want another piece of paper on top of the diploma saying 'Hi not606, this is QSS' diploma'. Otherwise, I'll continue to believe you know very little about football from your naive belief that Somma (who has been proven to lose the team goals) is some kind of deity.
