They should've known better after that World Cup opening ceremony performance. That made my ears bleed. Oh look Romo and the Cowboys are choking!
The one who booked Ne-yo and Pitbull tonight did it to intentionally ruin Thanksgiving... that was horrible.
Classic Romo choke we're seeing tonight, sacks, interceptions. Next he will run the ball, fumble it and break his back.
It's a shame the best game is on the west coast and so late as a result. I know Lions Bears and thanksgiving go back a long way, but 49ers v Seahawks is getting tasty lately.
our secondary is the weakest link. any decent passing coach and his team will torch us Mark is a HUGE upgrade over Dick!
Oh man, where did homefield advantage go on Thanksgiving? Who can see the niners go to the postseason with their schedule?
I've just seen the score. I think you are right, the Cowboys got put in their place. When the Eagles want to play they really can turn it on. Maybe not this year but next they will be very good indeed. Nice for Sanchez to kick butt the right way too.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...ore-ravens-wins-appeal-eligible-reinstatement Ray Rice looks like getting off.
Roger Goodell better have a statement at the ready. If he ducks this then they should give him the boot and get a new commish
Looking grim for the 49ers. They don't have the offense to hurt teams. The last 4 games they have been pretty good defensively, but simply cannot get teams under pressure. They looked blunt last night from my short experience of learning the sport. I don't have the technical knowledge to break that down into an analysis but they did nothing yesterday. Kaepernick looked totally out of options. Having said that, I should probably tip my hat to the Seahawks, who have been immense in defence last two games.
If I predict the results without looking up the winners (you'll have to trust me on this) will you let me keep any points I would have gained? I'm a Hufflepuff so we're trustworthy and honestly I haven't seen the results yet. Or read any of the previous few posts.
I watched the game last night to get a good look at it. From what I can see is that the defense stood tall, except in the first quarter, they dozed off or something when Turbin scored the TD. Russell Wilson had a decent game, couple of sacks, ran the ball rarely(usually runs a lot more than 7 times a game) but got one or two first downs. But mainly, Richard Sherman and Lynch were epic last night. Sherman with two class act interceptions and Lynch was just his usual self. Kaepernick was just off by a country mile on Thanksgiving. For once the 49'ers were solid when it came to penalties, Seahawks had five times more penalty yardage by the end of the game than SF. But the main reason why the 49'ers lost is because Gore was doing nothing. The running game rarely worked against that Seahawks defense. Stats for Rushing Seahawks - 49'ers Net Yards Rushing 157 Net Yards Rushing 64 Total Rushing Plays 34 Total Rushing Plays 18 Average Gain per Rushing Play 4.6 Average Gain per Rushing Play 3.6 Add the poor passing game to that stat and the average yards per play for the 49'ers is 3.2. Thanks to the Seahawks defense, which was just better than SF. Some, wee little biased, analysis here: http://www.fieldgulls.com/2014/11/27/7300843/seahawks-49ers-thanksgiving-final-score-nfl-richard-sherman-russell-wilson-playoffs-cigar-thoughts/in/7043440
Trent Richardson has been a bust since the trade, Ahmad Bradshaw is doing a lot better so if Rice were to go to the Colts, it would be either to cut/trade Richardson or to act as backup for injuries.
