On the back of Beefy telling me about John Lewis's Black Friday sale, I enquired about a particular TV there today. It wasn't for me, but for someone who is wanting a new TV who isn't remotely techie, and just wants a good decent and very capable TV. Anyway, the upshot was that they'd run out of stock, and no, I couldn't order one at the price. So, off I went to Richer Sounds in Bedford Place. They were extremely busy, as per usual. Nevertheless, although they were also out of stock, they allowed me to order the TV, for the Black Friday price [as cheap as John Lewis and including a free 5 year guarantee, same as JL do] and said it would come in within the next week, which suited my firend who isn't in a huge hurry, but just wanted to take advantage of the great price. Even though, as I said, Richer Sounds was very busy, the salesman [Greg - in dreadlocks, highly recommended] took his time and trouble, and explained everything really well. Once again, shopping in Richer Sounds was an absolute pleasure, and considering they have a reputation for holding sales records, I didn't feel rushed and Greg didn't let me out the door with my receipt until I was satisfied. Well done to them. And cheers Beefy, for reminding me it was a Black Friday sales day. Hope you sorted your LG/Samsung conundrum.
So if anyone's interested, I saw that girl I tried to kiss yesterday. And.... we spoke, and things were fine. Obviously I didn't bring up what happened, but we were chatting away and joking around and so on with absolutely no awkwardness, i was like we did before. So there still may be a chance with her and that makes me happy.

Oh and LTL. Finally got round to downloading the Parasite. Thought I had done it ages ago as I pre-ordered it, but turns out my card details were out of date on itunes so it didn't just automatically buy it when it came to the release date. Better late then never!
