Reviewing the not606 Saints predictions for this week so far:

    Saints win: 8
    Man City win: 9
    Draw: 8

    Undecided?

(of course I went for the win!)

    Implied Betfair chances are:

    31% Saints win
    41% Man C win
    28% Draw

So we might be right to be pretty evenly spread.

Most likely score 1-1. I'd be happy with that result. I'd be delirious if we won but happy enough with 1-1.

Makes you laugh that one pundit can say that we looked like a top of the table side and another saying we didn't based on the same game. Both cockwombles but one can see that top teams don't always win while the other can't remember more than a couple of days prior.

Aww, that's a shame. His father should know that by just dropping the ball the kid is unable to connect his foot with the ball. It's too quick for his young mind to deal with. Just a little upward force and the ball would stay in the air momentarily long enough for the kid to swing his leg. The kid actually realises he hasn't got enough time, and therefore he can't let go of the ball.

Which is the wrong shape of course. :)

Since Sheikh mansour took over the reigns from the extremely dodgy Thaksin Shinawatra in 2008 we haven't won a single away game at stoke, sunderland or southampton. We appear to have a red & white stripe phobia and I'd be surprised ,with our talisman David Silva out,if we ended the sequence tomorrow.
There is however a common feature to all three sides in that they all don't follow the usual park the bus tactic so favoured by many intimidated clubs, but prefer to take us on and work so much harder than we do which has been a recipe for success
Tomorrow we are without Silva,Kolorov and Dzeko so I think we will line up

    Hart
    Zabaleta Kompany Mangala Clichy
    Fernando Fernandinho
    Milner Yaya Nasri
    Aguero

If Pellegrini reverts back to his awful 4-4-2 I think a home win is a banker but if he keeps the 4-2-3-1 formation recently used when the penny appeared to have finally dropped then we may get something out of the game so long as we can get close to matching saints workate

    Heart 1-2
    Head 2-0

They must play differently against you than they do against us. Maybe they fear us more (tongue firmly in cheek) but Stoke always park the bus against us then hoof it from Bus to lone striker. Sunderland did too until that game a month or so ago and I assume they will return to that tactic after seeing what happened to them when they tried to be a bit more positive.

Maybe with you they think that the players you have will pick them apart and play through their bus where with us they think that we don't have that skill to do so.

I am pretty confident though. City aren't playing that well bar Aguero and even though a win against Bayern is a win against Bayern it was really a dead rubber to them. Similarly I think many of our fans got carried away with our win over Arsenal in the league cup when they rested some of their team.

I think we should be able to win but when playing a top team with top players they could click at any moment.

Not surprising that Forster tops the list of best keepers in the PL. The number of minutes between goals for Forster is double that of his nearest rival. A lot of this is down to the defence as a whole of course, but (although not listed here) I believe Forster also has the greatest number of stops to shots. The match against City on Sunday could involve Forster more than usual...be a good moment for him to really shine (though I would prefer that he is completely uninvolved :)).

Although it would be nice to see him try one of Artur's star jumps in Aguero's face. That could have a serious effect on SA's state of mind.

    http://sport360.com/article/europea...chard-keys-premier-league-predictions-week-13

Andy Gray gone for a 2-2 draw. Keys has gone for a City 2-1 win, though said he might have fancied us if Man City hadn't won during the week. Of the Villa game, Gray said we didn't give up, whereas Keys said some players looked like they hit a wall. I think it was a combination of the two...we were below par on a Monday evening after the international break, but the good thing was never giving up and believing we could win. The team will be up for this match and will produce a better performance.

Good old Tiss. Tony Pulis said on Sky that no team can defend this year. Tiss said, 'Have you see Southampton lately?'
