    According to SkySports:

SkySports usually get these stories correct and such news must also raise a question for us. If Arsenal are getting rid of their Left-Back, who will they be looking at to replace him?

If the Clichy move does indeed goes ahead, then I'd expect us to see Jose heading south to Arsenal some time soon. There's also the fact that Liverpool have missed out on Clichy, this could perhaps mean that Liverpool will still be interested in him and spark a bidding war.

Either way, I think that we ourselves will soon be looking for a replacement Left-Back. Thoughts?

Touched this on my article aswell.
I would and the vast majority on here would also prefer him to go to Arsenal if he was to opt to stay in England. He would get a very good reception 1st game of the season!
If he goes to the bin dippers though HE SHALL DIE

Totally agree though hoping he stays this season to see how we progress.

They've been talking a bit about this on the Arsenal board and general opinion is that he'd be a good replacement for Clichy.

I think that Keiron Gibbs will take over the left back position at Arsenal.

Hasn't he been challenging Clichy all season for the position? My mate who's an Arsenal fan thought there wasn't much between him and Clichy last season as well. I wouldn't be suprised if Wenger just promotes Gibbs to first choice.

Gibbs is injured at the moment & Missed the Euro U21's. Think Le Arse will snap up Enrique. Will be a loss to us but can't begrudge him a move to Champions League club. He stayed with us and fought when we went down when others who said they would didn't (cough Duff cough).

Enrique is twice the player of Clichy, and Gibbs always seems to be injured

Gibbs will replace him imo. They rate him REALLY highly and i couldn't agree more with them, they'd be stupid to buy Enrique when they already have the potential of Gibbs. Jose will just stall his progress.

Arsenal are linked with Kevin Doyle. If Jose is leaving us because we arent ambitious, surely he shouldnt join a team selling Nasri and Fabregas and signing Doyle. <whistle>

But yeah, in all seriousness. Wouldnt begrudge him a move to Arsenal, Gibbs come here on a season long loan as part of the deal? <ok>

I just saw it as a trending topic on twitter and found it funny.

Not a clue, maybe not606 should get onto the gossip page too.

As good as Arsenal are I wouldnt want to be any player linked with them at the moment with the potential exodus that could happen, just soo much uncertainty with them at the moment, i Dnt think they could afford him either tbh we will be looking at atleast 10 to 15 mill and thats the kind of money Wenger does not spend, and when he does it usually turns out bad i.e. Arshavin although Enrique obiously would be an exception

I'd be happier if he went to Arsenal rather than the bin-dippers

Wouldn't begrudge him a move to a team playing Champs League football next season and have been challenging at the top of the premier league while we have been floundering all over the place.

Hopefully only 1 direction now and we can get him back when we bypass arsenal (I reserve my right to be deluded at any stage of my life)

we're talking about the same Clichy here? the error prone attacking fullback who can't cross or defend. Enrique can do both, ergo, twice the player. You'll change your tune sharpish when he's playing for someone else and the media coverage of him goes up.
